The photo from yesterday was no good since the lighting was bad and blurry. >.>

Oh wat, I guess I took 2 photos. Dat sauerkraut!

But yeah, that dumpling place has super garlicy dumpling sauce (you can see the garlic bits in the sauce in the photo). Breath mints are advised for after eating them, hahaha.

And tomorrow is dumpling night too, which I totally forgot about.

Heh, I'll keep that in mind. Some of us should go sometime!

I remembered! I'm hyped for that! Is it okay if my dormmate comes along and gets a CSA membership as well? :D

Thanks, it's hate editing text on iOS. Press and hold on the screen, drag the cursor to the right point, release finger and accidentally move cursor one spot to the left, repeat process. T_T

That plus highlighting large chunks of text in the mobile Head-Fi reply box is impossible to do; it literally only lets you highlight the stuff in the current viewing of the reply box and nothing above it.

And sure! If it's like last year, it's going to be pretty busy in the kitchen so there will be plenty of time to just chat/make moar dumplings.

Just dropping by to say hi~
busy as hell these days... haven't got time to watch all the new anime you guys were talking about... :(

On other news, I've been working on Project-Cryostat: 10x USB DCP

Project is named after this character: http://myanimelist.net/character/19164/Plug_Cryostat

from this anime: http://myanimelist.net/anime/5973/Fight_Ippatsu!_Juuden-Chan!!

If you've watched it then you probably know why I named my charging station this :p

The blue switches are for selecting android / apple charging modes for high-speed charging.

@ Everyone

I made a product page for P-H for my review

http://www.head-fi.org/products/project-h

We can get the unit to Head-Fi leaderboards if all 10+ of you just go to it and press 'own' it or even write a B.S quick impression for it.

Woah, very nice!!!

How much would one of those cost to build?

Also, would it be possible to add some smart functionality to this with a microcontroller?

On a completely unrelated note, what's up with powder in the background? O.o

And stupid company in the paper... Facebook phased out the "fan" system at least 4 years ago -_-

I've actually had an idea to sell something like this for a while, think we could Skype sometime when we both have time and talk over my idea I've had circulating in my head for a while?

Also Bowei, I think I have an idea for a product that could make some money in the audio world :) We shall have to Skype sometime soon too.

Just not this weekend. Probably. Unless I don't end up hanging out with anyone and get super bored studying for my maths midterm.

Woah, I never knew iTunes had this awesome mini-mode!

100W 5V SMPS - 40 RMB

USB connectors - 10 RMB

Switches - 30 RMB

PolyFuses - 40 HKD

LEDs - 2 HKD

Resistors - 1 HKD

Regulators - 12 HKD

Trimmers - 12HKD

Caps - 0.5 HKD

Prefboard - 36 HKD

Approx: 26.5 USD

Sure, you can auto detect which charging mode to use or add charge indicators with a micro controller, but then it'll be a PITA to implement on a prefboard.

oh the powder is drilling dust from the prefboard.

Asdfasdf no way. They're playing the main theme song from The Secret World of Arrietty. I love that song!

Ah okay, I was actually thinking of doing a bit more than just that, but I'm not sure if it would be possible. We'll chat about it later.

You guys know the "snap-to-open" design for Ritter Sport chocolates?

Is it just me or do they never work like they do in the commercials???

On other news, I just found out that the EE student labs at my uni open 24Hr everyday!
they have a few sets of bench supplies, sig gens, multimeters, and soldering stations available :D

It works fine for me, but you kind of have to go beyond breaking the chocolate to open it. i.e. Bend package to break chocolate block, continue bending the package back into a V shape to open the seal.
