LOL, is the woman okay??

Smelly. Seriously can't walk 100 meters without being hit by some foul wind. And lots of drunk businessmen. And old men who spit anywhere and everywhere. But otherwise pretty nice. Got a kick out of seeing the huge manga section at a very big bookstore. Also been hunting around for some Vocaloid CDs but I've only seen Mekaku City Records and Supercell's self-titled album. Guess that's the reach of Sony.

Woman is fine. Strange considering I'm sure I was going at a good pace. :p Actually lucky that she was a pretty nice person and didn't make a big fuss about it.

What part of Korea are you at? I can't imagine Seoul being like that.

I might need to tune into that

also re watching Eureka 7 [Pslams of the Planets [IE the orignal show]

I do enjoy it more with the additonal info from watching E7AO,

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
So basically E7 AO is from what I understand WAY back in the past, so looking at even the first episode of E7 , I get the whole "scub" invasion thing. I never noticed that pretty much the entire City of Bell Forest was covered in Scubs, thost big hills are shaped like dead Scubs, moss atop them and everything. So it's shaping up to b an enjoyable re watch!

We will probably have to get a different case from eBay since we don't have as much access to the great land of China as you did. Which means new CAD drawings and all kinds of fun things like that... :/

Ah, alright. Assuming we were just assembling these ourselves for personal use, there shouldn't be a problem right?

Also, what are your recommendations for a more expensive amp? tongue.gif
And are there any kinds of potentiometers that we could use to adjust the gain without having the circuitry blow up? XD

The audiophool club we are starting over here at UW of course!

Haha true, PH holds a lot of "first times" for me... like shipping at ebay, batch assembling (aka: foxconn mode), practical use of CAD, custom cases, and buying "snow". :D

that said, I sold my PH already because it's been collecting dust at my place.

You can buy custom cases at ebay???

Yeah, personal use should be absolutely fine.

more expensive amp? HDVA600 :p

any pot will do TBH.

Woah~ you guys are starting an audio club? :o

Nice!! but I'm not sure if I'd be a good "adviser" since I've kinda retired from audiophool.

Stupid Americans, WHY does Eureka's voice sound so BAD in English... DMNIT... the Japanese Voice over is much better for Eureka, every other voice sounds fine but NOT hers

Heh, yeah. Wanna throw a nicer DAC in there and some amp other than the O2 that won't clip on high gain mode...

Basically make Project H 2.0, but not the original PH...

Yeah, it was everyone's "first time" for certain things

Well, it's pretty much a few of those case sellers from Taobao list on eBay as well at a higher price. We *might* be able to just use a CNC machine here as well~

Oh very funny -_- I'm talking about something we can DIY that measures better than the O2.

Really? Cool!

Yeah, we're starting one! Still no clue what the adviser does, other than just being an honorary position though...

Not to mention the geographical difference...

P-H 2.0 would be so cool!

Heck yeah! Don't do the same schiit! You are in univ with more resources and electrical engineers!~

Do some DIY mutha trucking schiit. Drop some AK and Saber's or even Phillips 16x parallel DAC's in that schiit.

Tips: Features impress. The dual state and amount of input and output and split unit options in the P-H impressed more people than the specs alone. This may also be one of the things that impressed your friends. I would personally keep this dual state mode, but just my own opinion.

Get to it!

Steam Controller video. It doesn't show probably the most important (how haptic feedback works) because you can't show it on video, but looks rather flexible.

My opinion stays: not better than mouse, but for couch gaming it may be good enough for mouse-based games. I'm no comfy couch gamer , but there are people like that.

agree'd. but I currently have one game that requires mouse and controller...

Jet Grind radio... the Grafitit is still ackward with out a controller, but not a big deal. cotroller sits inches from my hands so no biggie

@ Tracey

How about PHD? PhD? Project HD? It'll have a DAC that can properly playback high-res music (not just 16/48 or whatever PH is) and maybe DSD.

Yeah, I'm hoping we can get the PCB info on the controller from borisu, then possibly modify it so it can be vertically mounted?

That's the most awesome part of project H!

Ooh, I like that name, I like if a lot! biggrin.gif
I think that DAC I originally linked to plays DSD... Not sure how though lol.

I'm pretty sure the PCB in P-H can already be mounted however which way you want. Borisu kinda just used glue lol

P-HD

Project Hi-brid Definition? That would look sweet!
