That was really good, but I am sooooooo done with ice cream now until we eat the next one XD

xda devs is cool, but it's always too damn hard to find your device so I just use rootzwiki for all my android modding goodness.

Thanks for the answers guys!

This exam is going to be killer!
Yesterday I went to the doctor because my back and my ribs are hurting like crazy.
Doc said that I have some kind of virus infection in my spine....it sounds worse than it is :p
need to take painkillers and some kind of virostaticum for a week and then it should be gone.
Too bad that my exam is today.
Threw some painkillers in and I'm now on my way to university.
This exam is going to be painfully good...awesome pun, I know.

In the last two days they introduced
DIY custom themes by letting you unpack the firmware using their provided tools and DIY the device.
Added using the X3 as a USB DAC.

I am seriously right now plugging the X3 into my Mac sending 192/24 streams to the X3 and using it as a DAC to headphone out. Add that in with line out, coaxial out for $190 and schiit.

Actually, have the full announcement. Even better:

Special Promo: Shutdown Promo!

Showing you how government works, in case yours doesn't!
Speaking from one organization that has had an unpopular shutdown to another: America. What are you doing? America? Stahp.

Shutdowns are never popular, and all of the polls show that this is not a big hit with most Americans either. Americans may be looking for something fun to do, since all their parks are closed for the moment. Thankfully your favorite purveyor of digital games is here to help. It occurs to us that one of the problems may be that there are people on Capitol Hill who don't know what a functioning government looks like, so we thought we'd help and point a few out with a special 24-hour 50% off Shutdown Promo.

The Guild: Gold Edition is a great place to see where the term "Machiavellian Politics" originated from. If you're looking to find a land where earning power was the key to success in the political arena, look no further. Meanwhile, in Capitalism Plus and Capitalism 2, you can get the best economic sims that money can buy half off and see for yourself how a demand economy functions. Tropico Reloaded is 50% off as a reminder of what can happen when governments go awry, and Alpha Centauri (with the Alien Crossfire expansion!) has more different styles of governments modeled than you can shake a stick at. So, really, these games are a quick lesson in civic government. Because we're concerned for you guys.

There has been a lot of furor over health care in America leading up to this shutdown, and we think it's a shame so many people are upset about medicine and how to treat each other. To help further our educational mission for this promo, we figured we'd put Theme Hospital in the sale as well, because that way you can judge for yourself just how tricky it can be to balance the needs of sick patients against limited budgets. Finally, for reasons entirely unrelated to who may or may not have been involved in shutting down the US Government, we also appear to have Redneck Rampage on sale 50% off.

Finally, we would like to express our condolences to everyone who's been furloughed by the shutdown. More than that, actually, we'd like to offer you the games pack of our special Shutdown Promo for free. Send an email to thanksobama@gog.com with your picture holding the official furlough letter you received, before Friday 11 October 2013 at 12:00 EDT and we'll give you The Guild: Gold Edition, Capitalism, Capitalism 2, Tropico: Gold Edition, Alpha Centauri + Alien Crossfire, Theme Hospital, and Redneck Rampage free.

We hope the games will keep you all occupied while you're waiting for someone on Capitol Hill to get their act together. Meanwhile, get The Guild, Capitalism Plus, Capitalism 2, Tropico: Gold Edition, Alpha Centauri + Alien Crossfire, Theme Hospital, and Redneck Rampage 50% off (or free if you met the requirements above), in our special Shutdown Promo! The offer lasts until Thursday, October 10, at 12:59PM GMT.

What the hell is this bowei006?

Having a decent bicycle is always a good thing :)
I bought mine two years ago for 600€ and it still rolls like a champ.

I usually ride it to university, which is a 14km ride through the city.

I have a pretty good bicycle, actually. And while I may want a better one, it's actually good enough. :p
It's mainly for city rides though, since it has a rather heavy frame (low top speed) but really fast switching gears (insane acceleration at traffic lights). If I'd be biking from home to uni it'd be 90% through 'the country' (flat as hell farmland without trees in sight).
I'm probably just going to try it next week. Right now I do 20km per day, so 40km shouldn't be too bad. Biggest disadvantage is that I won't be able to get my tranquil half an hour of reading in the train per day. I love doing that.

Do the bike. My commute has changed to where I'm on transit more often than not, but biking was just this sort of pleasure that always kept me going throughout the day, great to have an excuse for it. In fact I'm thinking of compromising - eyeing one of those foldable bikes. I know Tern had split from Dahon and they're getting quite the good rep. Only thing in the budget would be this though. And even then that's pushing it. Depends on the bike but maintenance shouldn't be too costly.

When I'm taking a shortcut, off of the busy streets, into the alleys, the experience of biking with some nice music playing out the IEMs - you can't ask for more in life, really. Cept for some nice Quiznos.

Ah, the train - i.e. the alotted schoolwork-finishing timeslot. The lazy and the procrastinating will get the jist of what I'm saying.

Pupa - it sort of plays on sheer shock value beforehand but really goes into it beyond the first 2 chapters. The thing is that if you've read it, you'll realize how promising it is on the animation front if they do well. Not totally artsy - a bit of shounen....think Alive the Final Evolution. But once you get pass the shock value it makes for an nice story. Nothing jaw-dropping, but keeping with current standards it's among the better reads.

If you were in the Netherlands you'd just have several bikes parked at various train stations. Most people have at least two bikes here. I use one for house - station commute and another one for station - uni commute. And if I don't feel like biking there is in my uni's city the most awesome thing: three compartment 25m long busses.

I'm only in the train for 14 minutes, and it's always kinda cramped up, so there's no way I'd be able to do homework in there :p

I hate all of you anime-club persons.

Why does my stupid tiny university does not have one? :'(

Half of the people here are studying computer science in some way and there are enough nerds/geeks here to fill ten anime clubs!

Stupid anti-social, cellar-dwelling otaku scum just set a friggin club up already!

Well, almost everyone studying computer science, mathematics or physics here at my university has virtually no interest in anime and Japanese culture. Most people I know who are interested don't even study at university but rather at college or do lower tertiary profession specific training. (in the Netherlands there are three levels of tertiary education: 'scientific education' (university), 'higher tertiary profession specific training' or 'lower tertiary profession specific training')

Technically my university doesn't have an anime club either. But it's just that there exists one at my university of which the majority of the members do not study at my university. Plus it's not allowed affiliation with my university until it has reached 100 members.

Coppelion ep. 2

I don't know where they are going with this show.
There were quiet a few scenes that did no or just a bit sense to me.
Why is this person crying all of the sudden, why is she yelling this right now, why the hell did they do that?
All these over-the-top reactions....
My brows are still furrowed.

Kyoukai no Kanata

Moe done right, a few really funny scenes and a decent portion of action.
So far my favourite series of this season. :)

Wow, with those 2 features alone I am tempted to get an X3.

@bowei006 Did you get the project H page updated? Still not sure if I want any LinkedIn material tracing back to this site, where people can access this thread... :S

You sure there's no interest in anime/manga? A lot of people like to hide their interest as you probably already know.
And, fwiw, a lot of the standard weeaboos are also NEETs without any interest in going to college and are just generally seedy people. It's nice when you find some who aren't like that though.

Honestly, yes I kind of do call it a half arsed excuse. Mice is graduating within this school year and he's still gonna be the president of the audiophool club once we set it up.

Wait Michelle's a guy?

Nope, my bad. Stupid iPad keyboard didn't pick up the "s" that I typed. Stupid head-fi multiquote system runs at a snails pace on the aftermarket iPad browser I have to where you have to type slowly or it starts missing characters...

Just realized my school wifi unblocked Head-Fi. Yay

LOL, what did they have it blocked as? Chat room? Or "Global (Terrorist organization)" like some of the websites at our school were blocked as?
