^ lol

@ mechy, the soundstage is pretty good; I don't have the O2 with me so I can't compare it to that. It's very circular though as opposed to the C5's more linear one, so it sounds better in that regards. It also sounds warm next to the C5, but not bright like the E12. I'll have to voltage-match the C5 and P-P.

It was never made, not even the production models will have a red PCB.

The final PCB colors are black and blue.

My prof if talking about sampling and nyquist rate now.

He said if the sampling frequency is 2x the signal then the signal can be perfectly reconstructed.

In my head: not in the world of audiophillia :p

perfectly yes, most audiophiles want past perfect to make up for flaws in mastering or recording process. Maybe in more 'sharpness' or data pulsing through etc.....

Don't ask me how, go ask the people over at sound science. They are the ones who thought the idea up

Most of it in my opinion actually comes from tech standards for the production studios or makers than actual differences.

44.1 by all means is fine. 48 is what some will say should be used for classical music though but that is also a bit debatable. 48KHz with 24 bit for all intents and purposes will be fine

Do they actually charge more on shipping or is it because they only use EMS?

Sweet, looks like my home theater receiver is on the fritz. The HDMI out quit working. I'll use this as an excuse to buy a new one. Anybody familiar with current receivers?
