GAF won at some DOTA tournament. Don't like the game, but I'm still happy for that. :-)

On the topic of cloud storage

ever heard of these guys?

https://www.bitcasa.com/

I'm a bit suspicious of the offering (unlimited space...). But it seems pretty legit.

Typing becomes quite a challenge with a good amount of beer swimming in your stomach. Please excuse any mistakes I may have made while quoting the following posts.

I've definitely heard of Long Island. Don't forget about American dramas airing on European television.

Did not know that. Always thought you were a Connecticut man.
Speaking of which, I just came back from drinking with friends from high school and a guy who live more than ten years in Connecticut just randomly took a seat at our table to have a drink with us. It was pretty weird, but on the other hand he was a good drinking partner. Had a good bit of fun.

Dude you should sleep. At times like that sleep is much more important than anime. (as hard as it may seem to believe)

I have a sore throat, so now I have an excuse to be drinking whiskey at 10 in the morning.

I'm a novice when it comes to beer, do you have any suggestions?

Most of the beer I have drunk is pislner, but the better tasting beer is definitely the heavier stuff.

I recommend Belgian tripple or double fermented beers. Those are good.

Nice!

Let's see

I was born in Kunming, Yunnan(capital city of that province). I spent the first 4 years of my life in between that city and my father's home town(Kunming was my mom's home town). My father's home town was also in the province but was a small(very large and can be considered a city by Euro standards. But by Chinese standards, it was smaller than small) village out in the country side. I spent the first 4 years of my life living in Kunming and gong back to my dad's hometown to visit my family 'back home'. I went to a pre school there. And then at 4 years old. I went to America. Our first home in USA was in Queens NY. We lived there for a few years(2 approx).I went to a pre school and elementary school in NY, before then moving to New Jersey to start a new life. I went to a new elementary school there in NJ. But a year after that, difficulties arose, and I was sent back to China and lived in a house there(no school). 8 months later and I was back in New Jersey. From there, we moved to a town in CT. I went to elementary school in that town for 1.5 years before then moving to another town in CT. From there, I finished Elementary school, and this is where I have been living since finishing HS. And now, I'll be moving to Virginia! biggrin.gif

Not really.

I've discovered a strange trend for myself concerning audiophilia. If I initially like a product... I eventually find it gradually getting worse.

The opposite is also true. When I start off disappointed, it eventually morphs into a different feeling where the headphone grows on me.

Interesting how my brain works :)

Good to bad : source- C4s, M100s

Bad to good: Source- Kaede/TH900

Usually good to bad is better than the opposite. As the opposite usually just means you got used to the bad while in the other case, you got tired of the good

case in point my HFI's and the Q701's.

Well, as long as enjoyment is constant. I don't mind getting used to the "bad" :).

Doing a ReWatch(proper watch) of EF series again after I half assed watched it years ago without knowing anything.

General review. NO PLOT REVIEW BELOW. Spoiler Free (becuase even I don't remember what happens) You can read. It's mainly art and animation review

Dayum, people are right. Clannad's release those years COMPLETELY overshadowed this show.

This is probably one of the best pure romances the anime decade has seen.

The art direction is similar to Bakemonogatari's(except this is a 2007 anime adaption of a 2005 VN) but the production quality is top notch. Deep dark outlines with smooth animation quality, transitions and backgrounds leave this anime relevant for years to come. It's animation quality is actually higher than most 2013 anime currently running right now. I would say the character's animation quality(how defined and 'HD' they are) to be similar to SnK's this season.

Careful use of perspective between constantly changing characters with beautiful backdrops that just pop out in detailed radiance topped with quickly done transitional 'movement's and camera angles to focus attention and change character perspective is used meticulously throughout.

The OP for the first season is also one of the best I have heard

The OP also gives you a glimpse of the animation detail and uses of perspective, background backdrops, 'out of this world' but also secular elements that the anime uses

The OP for the first VN game

Is known to also be one of the most fluid and beautifully done in this generation. 2 minute mark is my favorite but watch the whole thing. The game features the art direction of MAKOTO SHINKAI!. The anime focuses more on perspective, over looking backdrops, and supernatural yet secular objects as its art direction BUT still features many inspirations from the game which used Makoto Shinkai's vision. As you can see, the character models were kept extremely similar if not the same. Of which both feature high quality character models.

I found Tom in EF a tale of Memories!

I plan on reading ef - a fairy tale of the two, in its VN form someday when the full patch is released. I think MangaGamer has the first tale translated, but not the second.

Maybe watch the anime? biggrin.gif

I agree on one point though. The best romance anime's are just the average AVN/VN. There is so much you can't do with an anime and millions of dollars pouring into the project with so many backers changing this and that.
