Isn't bacon smoked pork? So they're technically already cooked right?

Doesn't look smoked to me. It's usually more red if it is. This stuff looks completely raw.

Seitokai Yakuindomo and the student council president's teddy. biggrin.gif

I'd still be interested in a month. Closest option for a reshell would be Null-Audio, which is slow as heck.

From Wikipedia:
Bacon is a meat product prepared from a pig and usually cured. It is first cured using large quantities of salt, either in a brine or in a dry packing; the result is fresh bacon (also known as green bacon). Fresh bacon may then be further dried for weeks or months in cold air, or it may be boiled or smoked. Fresh and dried bacon is typically cooked before eating. Boiled bacon is ready to eat, as is some smoked bacon, but may be cooked further before eating.

So I'm guessing that's either the Green variety(of which it would still be pretty nasty) or the boiled ones, which would be ok.

Just read your blog post.

I feel I keep liking less and less anime as a feel the vast majority of the stuff airing is just too bland.
I have also learned that I'm slightly masochist when it comes to anime. The more something makes me cringe the more I like watching it. I have learned to appreciate over the top stuff as well.

But above all else, what I find missing in 95% of all anime ever is good character development and mature jokes. Seems like that's just completely contrary to the medium, which is why I think I should maybe start watching something else. Manga works for me, since there's lots of really mature stuff in there as well.

Nowadays I find there are 3-4 good shows each season, whereas before I was able to watch about 15-20 per season. It's truly an unfortunate development.

It probably shows that some are now maturing enough to forgo shows that are, lets be honest here, shallow and/or safe with the usual, expected tropes. Once that point is reached, it's hard not to sound cynical and pessimistic about anime, I feel. It also doesn't help that some shows that might have been mature seems to be hiding behind a shallow-looking facade, as if it's a lake that looks shallow on the surface, but once you're into it, you found out that it goes in 10 meters in. And then there are shows that seems to be deep, with a great writer behind it, only to be ****ed up with numerous other writers in every episode. As they say, too any cooks ruin the broth, or something like that. Yes I'm still mad with gargantia.

Really, the only thing left for me to look forward to now is either bombastic comedy, a la Nichibros or Servant X Service, dark humor or satire like Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei or Joshiraku or over over the top anime like TTGL and the upcoming Kill La Kill.

Needs to get back to manga, since I have a tablet.
Side note, @warren (i know you read this) give tilpo the "Sensible, Sane Man" tag??? lololoololoo

@boris

Just watched Rozen Maiden 5, and I disagree with the notion that nothing happens. In my opinion plenty of things happen, and this is actually a surprisingly good show.
Maybe you're just used to watching anime with incredibly fast paced plots or something, but this moving at a normal rate in my opinion.

My new CPU cooler is the best thing ever ♥

The only two anime I keep following this season are Watamote and C3 (no idea why I'm still following this series....)

A smashing read on how to disagree with people properly. Suffice it to say, I could use to move up from "******* FAG YOU HAVE **** TASTE" most of the time.

One of the most important things is to find out what is lacking in your own debating skills. If you don't realize you're not actually good at arguing, then you should get cocky and try to win an argument on the internet even if you're actually right. Or at least you can try arguing, but you should realize the point where the conversation makes no progress and just leave or use your wit to declare a stalemate and leave it at that.

This is something I learned through many conversations I had on head-fi. While you may think you're putting up a good debate, and using good arguments, this may in fact not be the case.
I also learned that some people you're arguing with can be real dickheads with bad debating skills, and you should definitely learn to recognize and consequently ignore people such as that.
