Haha yup, that's how it happens with shows usually. They start out kinda bad and get better with time!

Random filler and random fan service? Hmmm that doesn't sound that promising.

Yeah, it was good but not THAT good...

Alright, Project-P is Finally moving into phase 2!! biggrin.gif

Things to be done:

- develop beta prototype

- create product webpage

- gather info for publication

I still have 8 alpha-prototype gold-plated PCBs left.... (yeah, cuz a friend of mine insisted I use gold-plated PCBs tongue.gif)

So if anyone wants a high-performance, low-cost DIY portable amp, there's some PP's here.

This is a sub-$30 build (shipping included, case excluded.)

Disclaimer for the mods:

Project-P is a purely non-commercial project
I'm only selling off components I no longer need at the price I got them for.

I mean seriously, a cmoy costs more than that to make.

I'd take one if you can ever design a rechargeable battery circuit and a case... biggrin.gif

Cardboard is your friend! biggrin.gif

jks

You might want to wait for the final version then, I'm just selling off the alpha models to fund beta.

You can use a rechargable 9V battery I guess...

Anyone know how to get rid of Ngen.exe temp files or w/e?

So much man bodies this season. There must be a lot of man fans having multiple pleasant fits. Fabulous.

Not sure if life size but they're so short.

As usual Japanese ppl (and some that aren't) are amazing at drawing lol.

E-Earphone at Osaka is so much bigger than the Akihabara one.

Wow. Wow, Opera. Just... smh

I thought that with Opera 15 moving to webkit, it would be overall better and retaining some of the things that I love from the old ones, mainly the tab stacking and the robust mouse gesture support (with graphical help when I forgot what gesture do what). There's some quirk that made me not use it fully (that goes to Firefox now) that I'm too lazy to look a fix/workaround for.

Back to Opera 15 though, I don't know how it performs (pretty well I assume, since the top nav bar in google is fixed, and on 12 mine shown a borked one) since I "WOW" 'd my way in disbelief at omissions of some of the main features that's been in for Opera. No more tab stacking, a blind mouse gesture feature with lesser gestures, and no more pinned tabs. This is less attractive than Chrome now. This is bullcrap.

It's still alpha, though.

But then again, I don't like the direction they're going in myself.

Well the Opera Dev is already on 16 (or was it Next?). I'm using a stable release of 15. Apparently it was just released. My god, having a look at the mouse gesture chart in their help page, the available gestures are significantly lessened. And no more gesture + L/RMB combo. No more "hold RMB and scroll" for the opened tabs list. Hell, the kb shortcut is Ctrl + (Shft) + Tab to change tabs only. At least in Chrome and Firefox, I have Ctrl + PgUp or PgDn in addition to the first one. Gimpier settings menu than Chrome. And there's no more bookmarks too, and replaced with the speed dial thingy. Fine for non-power users/page hoarders.

One good thing, I guess, is that it has the "offline save" that's been around in Opera Mobile for a few releases now. Yes, I know that's basically saving a page locally though. Haven't tested it yet, but I hope that it syncs what I "stashed" on Mobile and Desktop. That's been my dream feature ever since I've used Opera Mobile on my Nokia phone.

Looks like I missed the release. When I tried it, it was some early version.

Well, luckily they will keep supporting the last "normal" version, at least for a while.

Yeah at least that's still there. It's too early to scream doom. At least that's how I see it. Maybe it's different for those that followed the development closely, since there's a lot of doomsayers with the release. To be fair, most people are like that with huge changes, but there's some good comments in there (but almost no mention of gimped mouse gestures in people's complaints, which makes me sad).
