What? Are you serious? O.o
There goes my plan to buy a HP-P1.

Yeah jailbreak + external DAC support has been pretty iffy. I dunno if that one digital out via camera connection kit Cydia app still works. The ODAC does work with the CCK if you don't jailbreak it from what I've read.

Waat, that's stupd!

My air conditioner (55dB by my measurements) is hardly audible with no music playing, and I can't hear ANYTHING with music playing.

Have you tried Etymotics triple-flange tips? Those are pretty hardcore. Compared to Shures triple-flange, the Etys are much stiffer and harder and they hold in the ear much better.

I have bought those Ety.Plugs ear plugs and boy do they do their job well at attenuating the sound without sacrificing sound quality though the problem is that they don't attenuate the low frequency as much as the rest but that's expected because of bone inductance.

Yeah, I have the Ety tri-flange tips, but they don't have a long enough stem to work well on my old GR07s. Because of that, they didn't seal very well in my ears and isolated fairly poorly.

Um... guess first thing after waking up isn't my best reading time.....
Haha!

I've woken up and responded to WORSE stuff. I get business emails sometimes in the mornings and I respond to them while barely awake in bed. I do NOT know why I do that -_-

If I were to made a list of all anime that I have seen, SSY is definitively at the top IMO. SSY is a fine rare gem in the anime world. They dare touching some issues that most anime would never do.

So in other news, I just finished reading Fifty Shades of Grey shamefully (dad bought these books because he was curious, he never read it though). Does that make me no longer human?
Anyway, it's more of an entertainment read rather than high literature. The writing is easy to digest and is very light but it's also quite shallow. I don't doubt that the author can write, it's just that it seems that she wrote this book because she's sexually desperate. The lovely-dovely passages are very well written, quite detailed and good pacing but in between, it seems so cliché. Now, I think that FSG has a high compatibility rate to be turned into a H-Manga rather than a movie. My personal opinion.
I felt that Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
The last episode didn't really fit in. BUT was needed to complete the episode. Explaining how they were quasi humans with humen genome(thourhg their FAULTY AS FFFFF SCIENCE EXPLANATION), how the queerats basically actually had a point in what they were doing, and forgiving Spquelar I felt was something that needed to be done. I was glad it was done, but it did feel a bit weird.

They are one of the only anime I have seen that actually tackles the subject of homo and bi-sexuality in CHILDREN. I really must applaud them for that. The whole relationship and sexuality thing was highly implied and required the viewer to see and understand what was happening without an explanation and I found that to be amazing.

Basically, the anime used this future world and ethical society to show the viewer about sexuality and our human needs for love. The use of BISEXUALITY was really nice too. How it featured them getting a love bond with their homo partners but also realizing that they needed to make babies and thus had hetero partners.

Using the queerats was also something that I never expected an anime to ever do. It made the queerats VERY ugly so that you would almost never feel compassion for it and just saw it as a creature. However through this, they were able to disguise their true notions/plans for the series. And that is, they would use the queerats to actually be OUR OWN humanity and represent us current humans and the fight for democracy, and winning against adversity.
Overal, overlooking the animation shortcuts A-1 Studio's took, it was a good enjoyable series with more weight in the messages, execution, and story of it.

For those wondering about what I mean by animation shortcuts and issues.

If you view episode 5-10 again, you will see what most usually see. Very very derpy faces. In the scene when they become
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
teenagers
or in the early first cave scene. Derp faces and faces that do not model the actual pre designed character faces is seen a lot. Especially in the timeline mentioned in the spoiler where the actual number of frames and different drawings made to comprise of those drawings was low making it poor quality and not fitting what the characters looked like.

The animation shortcuts however is generally not noticed. As a video editor, and anime watcher. You usually have a feel for how scene cuts and transitions and focuses are used. eps 5-10 and some episodes in the 20's utilized scenes where the faces took up the whole screen barely moving. These are just shortcuts used as the face is easy to draw and you don't need to draw and animate the background or any movements. Often, it has been noticed by me that facial animations are not even drawn into the characters. You would often see rage or happiness in the characters while their faces don't change(not a closeup of course). Very close shots, editing to clasutrophobic scenes, and using top to bottom shots(which are just a picture with the guise of animation) are used very often as a way to cut corners.

Anime frequently use these obviously, I just found it irritating due to how prevalent it was used in eps 5-10.

Any one of you gents compared HM5/FA003/etc. to HD380Pro?

How's HM5/FA003/etc.'s isolation versus HD25/HD280Pro/DT1350/T50p?

Oh, and guess where the screenie is from.

1000

I love Aoi's design in Aikatsu, but after watching the first episode, I think that I would have to force myself to watch the rest.  Does it pick up?  It seems to me that it is another idol show like Love Live!, which I enjoyed, although I wouldn't label it a favorite in the least.

I haven't tried the HD280Pro but I have tried an FA003, a modded wooden cup HM5, DT1350, T50p, HD25 a long time ago. What I recall is that the FA003 clamps very hard while the HM5 variant has less clamping force. Isolation on the FA003/HM5 is above average but certainly better than on ears. Can't say on the 280Pro though.

About the sound, all I remember with the FA003 (high impedance variant) is that it sounded fairly balanced but a bit harsh on the high side. Impactful lows and good mids. That's all I can say because it was such a long time that I tried them.
