Meh I hate enthusiasts then. People will still be buying up those double-priced Terra players like there's no tomorrow. Common sense yay.

^ @ ethic committee: that made me LOL so hard, hahaha
What is funny? That there is one, or how I would be kicked out of it? smily_headphones1.gif

Wow dayum. Put up my ad selling the GR07s and less than 20 minutes later I had a serious buyer...

eek.gif

And... Sold! Payment delivered and all! Less than 1 hour after listing them!

Why? Wouldnt a ciem be really good or better for you? Anyway, im waiting to see what project tells me about Cosmic Ears new ciems

Customs mean $200+ reshell fee every 2 years, even less if my weight changes (which I'm hoping it will during college) plus I've heard that tri flange or foam tips can isolate better than the acrylic in CIEMs.

Why spend more and keep having to spend more for something that won't isolate as well and will be harder to sell later down the line when I don't want it anymore?

4 years and I've never been to the IMA before. We didn't even go there during orientation. XD

I'm assuming the IMA is the fitness center?
I'm not even talking about going there, just walking everywhere as opposed to having to drive everywhere!

Yup. It's on the other side of campus where I never go, so I don't even bother going there.

Huh, well like I've said 1000 times before, I like the slightly elevated bass (might want a bit more) plus the intimate vocals. Just want something without so much sibilance and better isolation.

headphone audio tech has basically stagnated for the past few decades. Almost every company on the market right now(even the big players, and even Vmoda) are using OEM drivers from China.

Audeze, and select Sennheiser headphones are some of the few companies remaning that are actually innovating and inventing and spending huge money on actual headphone R and D making products such as that so high, CIEM companies as well.
I like a slightly more bass too. I like good vocals, nothing too close or too far. Intimate vocals in the long run after extended listening actually hurts my ears

I like vocals. And treble~

foam tips and tri flanges are a pain to squeeze and insert. I prefer to just twist and lock. (don't take this the wrong way btw)

Heh, DAPs. Could never tell the difference between DAPs. Strange how I felt cables had more of an impact than DAPs (copper to silver wires)

And in my case, I lost my already faulty left fit in less than a year. :)

But it's just depends on how your body is built.

Well, Free Episode 2 was surprisingly good!

Also very good humour too!

I think I've become accustomed to the show now. biggrin.gif

Highlight moment!

Nope, while as a student you'd be gone already. Tainted cat be under your bed.

Can't help it. We all seek perfection to some extent. People don't get plastic surgeries or botox injection if they think they look fine without it.

It's only when we come to an agreement with ourselves to just be content with what you have and what you can have, that we understand to stop the silly goose chase.

Rik came to this conclusion and it's a very good one.

No one needs 10+ sets of headphones... :S but I still have that many.

Too bad the recent trend is dark and bassy stuff.

DAP does many some differences but it's essentially on the exact same level as changing amps. In the end, if it sounds alright, what REALLY matters is the usability IMHO.

UI, battery life, physical controls, size, storage size, etc.

Heck I am interested in the AK100 for only TWO reasons:

1) Expandable memory. Two of them.

2) Doesn't require stupid iTunes that will wipe all your data if it fails to sync.

Has there been similar problems with FitEars? since they supposedly don't insert as deep.

Honestly it still goes deeper than your usual IEM.

The only problem I see with FitEars ToGo is that it doesn't 100% "Fit your Ear" *badum tschhhhhh*.

It's a bit bigger and wider than the norm of universal IEMs so it might be a bit uncomfortable at first.

With the right tips they fit quite nicely namely because they're big. Too bad they're still backordered.

I was talking about the CIEMs since people do say they don't insert as deep. I'm not really all that familiar with CIEMs so I can't tell how appropriate that statement is, and how the shorter insertion would affect the need of refitting.

Apparently it fits better because of the shorter stem. IDK how that works, but that's what people say.

Even over the years?

Probably not a brilliant question. Not sure how long these have had exposure.

But since these can't be reshelled, it would be a HUGE problem if the fit goes haywire.

Well considering you could fit into some CIEMs of random strangers... and you ear canal won't change that drastically (definitely some sort of change, but you still have the basic shape). The fit shouldn't be a problem.

Pffft. We all know you have to paint, laser, or stick your own Miku onto your tablet rather than buy one.
