It was a masterpiece imo.

Eh, I don't think the Japanese cast could've done a better job than Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson. They both set an incredible high bar for acting in games IMO

Actually from what I've heard, the Japanese dub is meh.

Why try it with non-original dub even? Maybe unless it's for variety when replaying, though...

The reason why I don't think any other cast could have done a better job is cause of the solidarity and commitment that everyone involved made to the game:

I honestly think Troy is possibly the best VA working in games at the moment next to the incredibly talented Nolan North.

We all know that's never going to happen for either of us.

However, I always need to remind myself again, especially when reading their stories

The two students who died were young Chinese girls excelling at what they were doing, participating in a U.S Summer exchange program

The article is filled with new gen propaganda, indoctrinating principles, and other undermining bits, but the parts about the two young victims are indeed tragic.

Ugh, I don't know how I would feel if those two were my two friends from China. Fortunately, they're both still in their summer camps in the US...I think. I know one is, I don't know if the other one is doing a summer camp this year since last year she already did the John Hopkins one.

But honestly, I once went to a recently opened UNIQLO store (first one in Jakarta) and the amount of clothes they have. All casual designs. UNIQLO truly is the Mark & Spencer of Japan though most of the clothing are made in China obviously. biggrin.gif

Curious enough to go buy one now...

Just realized one of the only reasons I know UNIQLO is because of Novak Djokovic. Shame that he lost to Murray in the finals of the Wimbledon (the tournament just happened to be on CCTV 5 and I had nothing to do when I was sitting at my grandparent's house in Hefei), same with Lisicki to Bartoli. For those who don't recognize the players through their names, photos below.

Novak Djokovic is this guy:

Andy Murray is this guy:

Marion Bartoli is this person:

Sabine Lisicki is this person:

Again, I don't really follow professional tennis all that much.

I believe so. I checked their website the other day but didn't bother to look under the UT 2013 section.

I'm not sure how it will do. Obviously WoT will outclass it since, but how WT will include it, I don't know. I don't know how they're going to implement it since the number of ground targets differs from map to map. Tank players will be mad since they're rather easy to take out with bombs and there are always 1-3 bombers on each team, that's if they mix the players together.

I would prefer WT keep this stuff separate from the plane players. Basically, use AI planes for the Artillery and such to shoot down and have P2P between the tanks and AAA and such.

One I've started taking a liking to is らんぜ, she does lives nearly everyday around noon (Japan time).

Ah, so you like Tsukinowa (sorry can't be bothered with kanji)? I only just discovered her recently.

Glad to see you like Ritsuka as well, her gentle voice is awesome. She also accepts her fans' friend requests on fb as well (teehee).

As I said before, I like female voices....especially clear, soothing ones that can hold high notes

So here we go: F9/Kiyono, yue, pagodes, Seriyu, Kakichoco, himawari, Baru, Chibita, nayuta, Chachako, kalon., Sariyajin, etc just to name a few.

Of course, my favourite goes to Hanatan (for me she's like a vocal goddess who came down to Earth in human form):

[The part at 3:27 is particularly amazing!]

It's good that some utaite also do Touhou stuff...more beautiful songs for us to listen to!

Sigh... too much fanservice this season.

This question on how they will implement stuff is something Gaijin and Wargaming both do very well.

It's what reporters have been saying at least.

That has got to be the worst death report for any parent..."I'm sorry but your child was run over by our medical equipment while trying to get to the scene. She could have survived the crash, but unfortunately it looks like we ran over her." :/

Make sure to catch End of Evangelion when you're done as well. On the whole though, you're either gonna love the series or just plain hate it

Yeah. I don't like NGE. I do Asuka's and Misato's character design. They make for great 18+ doujinshi's. wink.gif

Gaming related? There might be some.

Current lineup has branding prints (Fender, chupachup, kewpie, mini, etc.) and bands, and Disney as usual.

As far as anime and game prints I only remember One Piece as of late. They used to have really cool EVA shirts.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Friday Day 2 of Anime Expo 2013 they had a Guest of Honor panel for Megumi Han. She is the amazing voice talent behind Gon from Hunter x Hunter (2011).

Megumi grew up watching the original Hunter x Hunter. She completely loved the character Gon because of his hard work ethics, his happy up beat personality and his kind heartedness to everyone including his opponents. When she heard that they were remastering HxH, she knew it was her calling to go into voice acting. She had to get that part. When she went to audition for the part of Gon, her mother was more nervous than she was. Megumi's mother, Keiko Han is also a Seiyuu. Keiko did the voice of Mito Freecss but she is well known as Luna and Queen Beryl from Sailor Moon. When Megumi got her dream job as Gon she told us she was so happy and that she put her whole life and energy into the character.

At the end of the panel, there was Q&A. So of course, I jump into line as fast as I could. When it was my chance to ask her a question, I greeted Megumi with an "OSU!!!". She replied back with such enthusiasm "OOSSSUUUU!!!!!!!" Everyone was laughing and cheering for her. Then I asked my question, "In Hunter x Hunter, Gon's special nen ability involves Jankenpo, will you play a game of Jankenpo with me?" Megumi said yes, had a huge smile on her face, jumped out of her chair and started trotting my way. She was super excited. Without thinking if there were consequences, I ran up on stage to meet her. She stood inches away from me. She asked me "Play in English or Japanese?". So of course I said japanese. Then she got ready in Gon's trademark jankenpo attack pose emulating a scene from Hunter X Hunter. I followed her example and got in the same pose. She yelled "SAISHO WA GU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JAN... KEN... GUUUUUU!!!!" She throws a rock and I threw paper. The crowd erupted. Megumi had the cutest pouty face on when she realized she lost. It was so adorable! I wanted to take a step forward, open my arms to give her a sign if she'd a hug but I think that would have be inappropriate (and against regulations to touch guest of honors lol) so I bowed my head to her and said "arigatougmasu". The crowd was still cheering for a good 20 seconds. I 99.99% knew she would throw a rock just because she's Gon. I kinda feel bad that I won because it felt like I was cheating knowing that she would throw rock. A part of me wanted to throw rock just to tie and play another round and stay up on stage longer. Another part of me wanted to throw scissors to lose on purpose and make her happy. xD

Megumi Han is totally awesome. She is so adorable and really feeds off the energy of the fans at the panel. Unfortunately no flash photography or video recording was allowed. Only the 'press' were allowed to take pictures although still unable to record video. So I really hope there is a picture of me playing jankenpo with Megumi flying around the net in the near future.

This is a memory I will never forget.

A cool fact I found out was that she did the Japanese voice over for Elle in the PS3 exclusive "The Last of Us."

Man, awesome experience!

The original Hunter x Hunter (and Card Captor Sakura) were what brought me into manga and anime.

Didn't watch all of it, sadly.

I hope she does know what happens to Gon later on in the story though. Not sure if they are going to go that far with the new anime.

Hehe, Tsukinowa's voice isn't as clear as hanatan by memory but I prefer her voice and her interpretation of songs.

I think that was one thing that I didn't like about hanatan as much; many of her songs don't feel as well interpreted as other utaites. By interpretation I mean the tonality, the nuance, etc.

I see a few others I know in that list you wrote, and some others too perhaps, but can't tell without the actual written form. I'll check a few more out. I do remember liking himawari and kalon, but only for select songs.

I used to follow うさ and ほんこん as well.

And how can I forget, 歌和サクラ. Where did she go :S

Enjoyment: 5

But I know its around a 7.5 for the 'real' anime watcher etc etc who likes deep things etc etc.

Ahh, that's too bad...

Tanks would be destroyed almost immediately. People will farm kills with bombers now since they'll have to ramp up the XP for killing player controlled land targets (just like how people go around milking XP from destroying Pillboxes which are a PITA to destroy using guns, obviously). This would be insanity. Also, human controlled land targets could also mean instant death for pilots since most of us go straight at them while shooting which gives them a decent amount of time to oneshot somebody.
