Well, isn't the sister of the head-loving dude in love with him?

Everytime she mentions her love for her brother it doesn't sound like the "normal love" between siblings.

That doesn't mean anything happened.

I keep wondering how does that work. All control surfaces taken out, poor guy couldn't move anymore.

Welcome to War Thunder. I decided to play Russia again for once with the LaGG 3-35 and I had black for damage on almost every control surface and I survived for the remaining 10 minutes of the match and scored 4 kills, but then again, Russian planes are broken. Did something similar with an IL-2.

Pancakes aren't that hard to make.

Gingerbread pancakes...so good, but I added a bit too much nutmeg.

HOW DO YOU GUYS DO THEM?

I can get the first side looking like that, but after, I get a white looking crusty thing !

And the middle is always a bit soggy and not fully done!
I just flip them once the bubbles start popping...

The second half started a bit too goofy for my taste.
Nevertheless, the show keeps getting better and better.
It kind of feels a bit like an documentary about Tokyo and the subcultures there. Never seen an anime that focused so much on the city itself. I like that :)

Haha yeah xD short short appearance, but they're still around, somewhere, and happy as usual :D

What's pretty cool about Durarara! is that their map of Ikebukuro is pretty accurate.

Sounds like you have your heat turned on too high; you get one side burnt but the insides aren't fully cooked yet.

Lower the heat setting and go at it a little slower.

Today would be a PERFECT day to make carbonated ice cream from dry ice! Yay, high school AP chemistry/molecular gastronomy can be useful! :D

Did you lightly grease the pan before putting the batter on? You're supposed to wait until bubbles start forming on the top, and likewise when you flip it.

Soggy in the middle? Is your heat source directly underneath the center of the pancake like in the above photo? Or maybe you're making the pancake too thick.

Yes I did. Exactly like you are doing.

...that's probably where I messed up. The heat was high enough for the butter to pop and crackle the moment I put it on.

Oh, well there you go. :p

I had my stove burner on high the whole time, but it wasn't hot enough to do that.

Really? I had mine on medium and it could do that.

sometimes my family just irritates the hell out of me... I can't let my hair grow past the top of my eyebrows, I can't wear that shirt because it looks unprofessional, I can't like a facebook post that has a cuss word in it, etc... They would kill me if they heard about me drinking and smoking and being an atheist...

lol

Why not just tell them you aren't religious

It's often confused that not liking religion is the same as atheitism.

Not saying yes to a God may mean one is agnostic, but in my case and what I find to be most cases is that people don't make an opinion on God, but rather an opinion on religion is how they come to the conclusion of atheitism.

So rather than being an atheist or agnostic, I think the better term to use would just be non religious. Your parents may accept that more.

no, I have a friend that's 'non-religeous' and my parents gave me an intervention to try and convince him to become Christian... an hour long intervention for something I couldn't care about, at all.

Ok nevermind then.

Because it works well with me if  I just say that I don't believe in religion.

That would be my worst nightmare.
I'm a full on atheist just like the rest of my family (the most hardcore one would be me :P)
I did the exact opposite of what you are supposed to do and convinced a friend that his religion is as crappy as all the others are...now he is only smiling about the time when he used to go to church and so on :)

Like the panda said, I would just try to tell your parents that you are more of a non-religious person. or if that doesn't work, tell them that you too confused by all the religions that there are or something like this.

Just out of curiosity....what would happen if you would just tell them all the things you wrote here?
