I don't even want to know what kind of sick fantasies guys had to have in order to come up with the whole sexual image of Gardevoir...

I've actually seen quite some R34 related to that pokemon. I have no idea why she's so popular, maybe it's got something to do with the anime.

Thanks for the offer, but I already sent it off. And again, why would an adviser care about my CV? They are supposed to help me with education related problems, not job related, right? In any case it's alright now, and the correspondence with the recruiter has been fairly casual so I think I'm definitely not gonna get ignored because of the contents of my CV.

64GB SD cards are pretty much a small firmware update over 32GB, nothing changed.
I personally have a 64GB card in my phone and it works just fine. They aren't the fastest cards, but having a lot of storage in my phone is really nice. I have about 30 gigs of music on there, and 20 gigs of manga, so 32GB wouldn't cut it. I could live with it, but why bother if it costs less than 30 euros more to get a 64GB card?
Nowadays the speed argument is not the case anymore either, but it definitely was 1.5 years ago when I bough mine. Back then there only was a slow SanDisk 64GB card.

Around 600 Dollar inclusive shipping to Germany. I already found some people who are willing to act as some kind of proxy, that way I won't have to pay stupidly high taxes.
Still not sure if I should pull the trigger. There are a few more impressions from other members incoming next week or so.

Why would they care? They are there to help students succeed; even if they didn't care, having another person's opinion won't hurt. What makes you think I care about your CV? XD

My advisor is willing to look over personal statements, CVs, and/or résumés.

Yeah the speed of 64 GB SD cards shouldn't really be an issue with today's advancements in technology. I don't really see how a 64 GB SD card can sound any different from a 32 GB one. I say do a blind test or don't even bother saying something so abstract. FLAC vs WAV makes sense, but with today's technology, it doesn't make any sense whatsoever as to why a $1300 PMP can't decode FLAC efficiently. If that is the case, that's just pathetic if you ask me.

Spent the entire day reading datasheets, and learning how SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface) and Biphase encoding works.

Feels like my mind is about to explode....

I know that feel. Always get it when studying for a long time on one day. Especially if it's self study, if it's at uni and you work together with others to solve problems and you have the ability to ask questions it's much less fatiguing for some reason.

Not to really, that's ridiculous, even by my standard. But now I know not to ask for recommendations from him. :P

Nah come on. It's not that bad from an objective standpoint.

Oh and tilpo, if you're not reading JJBA part 3 because the anime is around the corner-ish, then you might want to consider reading part 7 Steel Ball Run, since it's an alternate universe because [reasons] in part [number].

Jgray sounds like he PERSONALLY does not like the anime.
It would only be kind of reasonable if he left his friend if the show is objectively bad :-)

You don't get the point do you?

I'm saying it doesn't make any sense whatsoever to use the word 'objective' with a necessarily subjective evaluation like that of an anime.

What on earth would make a show objectively bad? I mean, the show 'Aku no Hana' gets infinite amounts of cursing from people that cannot appreciate it, but it's definitely not a bad show because I for one love it.

Yes I personally don't like oreimo. The end pairing is utterly predictable, so it's pointless to invest emotionally into pairings that will only cocktease you before you get your heart broken. It has all the character tropes that I dislike, which is 84% predictable based on current trends and the source material. And it has all the usual trappings of the genre, again up to 81% certainty based on current trends and source material.

Objectively, within my own parameters in what I enjoy in a anime, I can say with 99% certainty I dislike it.
