How to make someone be driven into frustration. Wait one week for Gargantia episode 11 and then watch it.
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
It's not a bad episode, it's just that it was very annoying in a sense that it ends with a shock cliffhanger. Well who doesn't expect that from Gen Urobuchi.
Nice to see Rackage back again but I feel she might be plotting something...
Commander Kugel is all well and alive (or is he?) but the fact that he doesn't want to get out of the cockpit is truly fishy. I don't know if it's the machine that's keeping him alive inside or just because he feels like it (Chamber analysed Commander's Kugel health and found no signs of diseases).
Yes, I know. He doesn't get out of his cockpit because he wants to impose fear and power to the people and pirates. The same way as a totalitarian regime will do.
Talking about that, this episode reflects the life of people on Earth if they were imposed by the ideologies of the Galactic Alliance. It really was an obvious showcase of a totalitarian regime, I bet it's exactly the same in Avalon.
Now some things that worried me in this episode is probably thinking what would be the denouement of the next episode which will be the last (or will it?) going to be?
Obviously Kugel's way of "awareness strategy" is to obliterate everyone until they go into submission. I really don't think Ledo will be able to do it, Gargantia meant a whole lot to him.
My prognostic for the next episode will obviously be a great big battle between Kugel/Stryker and Ledo/Chamber though I'm not sure if Chamber can compute the fact that two allies are fighting each other.
I really think it's going to end very badly for Ledo but it might end with a grain of hope for the people at Gargantia but that's just my guess. I really hope the outcome will be different but anything can happen when the last episode will be in Urobuchi's hands.
That's pretty much it for today's Gargantia. Oh and one more thing, Pinion deserves to be dead in my honest opinion.
