After some research, I've pretty much settled on:

PCM2707 (USB interface)

DIR9001 (S/PDIF interface)

PCM1754 (DAC)

OPA2134 (LPF / Line driver)

with USB 16 / 48 max

and S/PDIF 24 / 96 max

I'd go for another DAC, preferably a different chip. Not that this one is bad, it would just be fun to change things up smily_headphones1.gif

LOL you want the DAC too?

sure, I guess, I'll have to make more than 1 PCB anyway.

Oh yeah, another combo unit sounds sweet! :D

This is my first time traveling in many many years, and back then I was simply dragged along because I was too young to be home alone.

Ooh, didn't know it was this soon. Good luck!

Nah, still using Project-IA

Nope, not an AV receiver without 3D HDMI support! tongue.gif

Good luck to anyone bidding. I was lucky that he put down $400 before me, or else I might have to commit to that bid (don't really want to  :P).

Oh, and is it possible to make automatic bids?

Eew, I hate ******** like that that bid super high before the last hour of the auction... mad.gif

I haven't heard them yet.  Don't know if I'll get to hear them before they're officially released.

Well that's the tricky part right?  There's so much gear out there that it would be impossible to include it all.  So just to make it even remotely manageable, it has to be limited.  Honestly, I don't envy him.  Everyone likes different things... so no matter what he picks, there are gonna be people who wished he had picked something else.

ok, I just kinda started learning C and i'm really confused...
it seems like variables and functions are treated like the same thing.

it's like completely different from assembly where "functions" are labeled addressed and you tell the stack pointer to go there.....

new anime fan reporting in rolleyes.gif well new to the thread, not really to anime since I've pretty much retired from it. Lucky Star and K-On were my days..

I've came to ask if anyone has listened to the Nodame Cantabile Best 100 Box Collection? I've been listening to the first track of Disc 3 (Beethoven No.7 in A - I) the past few days for the first time with my new headphones and noticed there's some crackling noise at approx 13:20 of the track which goes on for quite a few seconds. Doesn't sound like any musical instrument I would know and sounds more like random noise. Is it just in my rip to the computer or is it something picked up during the studio/hall recording? It makes the otherwise smooth strings sound rather bumpy!

Thanks :)
