It's not the hands. It's like when I'm getting visual feedback of what I'm typing on the screen a I try and slow down to make sure it was correct before moving on to the next character.

Yeah, I sometimes notice that too.

You guys should try Typeracer, it's pretty good at for testing your WPM, better than other sites IMO. Just hit the practice mode.

I get about 70-100wpm depending on the text, I still struggle with punctuation on my new keyboard. ><

I've used both TypeRacer and TyprX. I find TyprX more accurate sometimes. The algorithm for calculating (including mistakes added in) is fairly similar, but with TypeRacer being a little more penalizing for mistakes.

I actually downloaded the PSX version and converted it for PSP. Still fun, although later in the game it gets suddenly so-freaking-hard that you need more luck than skills and the driving model aged a lot. But yeah, I still had lots of fun, so it's not only nostalgia... :-)

Lol, I never played enough of it to get that far...

Huh, that's cool.

Speaking of keyboards, Ducky just received my Keyboard today... Now time to wait forever for another reply as to when they're going to send me a fakkuing working keyboard >_<

Oh right, I hiatused that game

I was going to do her route.

So yeah, seriously what did you think? No spoilers of course

Chase overhyped the hell out of it for me. It was meh tbh. The romance felt completely forced and the feels got shoved down your throat like Tang said.

I do... *Blushes*

I'll need to download the VNDS version for my phone and play it after playing the other 10 VNs or so I have queued up...

Went a bit overboard with the whole thing. Kinda blunt forcing the "feels". MC feels like a bit of a coward, but that might be because individuality isn't so big in japan as the West. H-scenes were a bit forced. So yeah, I stand by my "Not bad".

I agree for the most part.

The MC is a pretty big coward. :/

It is just rather pointless, just like KDR in games and such.

Sometimes there is a business requirement in which you need to know how fast you type. I remember there were some vision benefits I wanted to go after and they needed a minimum speed of 35(which is average).

(O.O)

Am I that fast of a typist?

Not really lol. For a high end secretary or any information input job, I think minimums are like 80-100ish

It's basically just a prereq the jobs can put down to help seed out slow workers lol. I rarely type faster than 40-50 and 62 was insanely fast for me.

They do have clubs but it's either volunteering and you aren't really close knit (150 people or so), or there is a group, but I apparently didn't join at the beginning of the year. Meh. Still a pretty big group.

Anyways, valvrave ep 6. lololol. too funny. This is pretty much gundam for kids. First AGE, then this.

hmm. 92 WMP with 97.7% accuracy on a laptop keyboard that keeps ignoring a few inputs. Not bad but I don't see the point of writing this fast most of the time.

I like to type slowly and thick thrice before I submit my work.

Slower pace typing is around 88 WPM with even better accuracy, but honestly, when writing an essay I hardly ever hit this kind of speeds unless you are just copying texts at a comfortable reading position. Happens, but only once in a while.

WMP huh. Windows Media Player isn't that good of a media player...

Anyhow, I think knowing your WPM is a depressing test. Oh 100+ WPM? In theory I could write a 5000 word essay in less than an hour. >.>

Well, considering the fact that I have a light complexion, I do have a noticeable blush. I never really considered whether or not I find it cute when someone has a noticeable blush though. I would probably say no.
