Good read.

I didn't think they were pushed that hard to the brink!

But I do agree. Last Light has a lot more potential than Warfighter did

An International person without backing from USA,China,Russia would be extremely beneficial as a true role model.

That doesn't matter.

He isn't from a premier country whilst still being from a top country.

Obviously when it comes to major politics and war. Canada and Murica are home boys. But in regular situations. IT's a seperate thing.

A role model from the 'nice' and 'humble' Canada is awesome. There is no better country I think to have this man come from except France or U.K as a role model.

English is already an internale language and so is French in Africa. He is an accomplished man in the field of applied sciences.

Yuri Gagarin and Armstrong, sure are there. But they are dead. When they were alive. They inspired millions into the fields of science, rationale thinking and straight up heroics.

Chris Hadfield is the man we need but not the one we deserve. He is a slient guardian. A Dark Astronaut.

If Chris isn't the model role model for the next generation of kids. Then I don't know who is.

Things that make him an awesome role model for 'tomorrow'

  1. Humble
  2. Answers internationale requests and questions
  3. Extremely Smart
  4. Not American
  5. Great Singing Voice
  6. Figurehead of the Scientific field
  7. Astronaut in Space
  8. Internationale worker who is Canadian and has worked with Russians and Americans.

But dayum... He has a much better voice than I realized. IT was about 2 mins in when I was blown away that he could actually sing

Seen it. It was posted in the Diary thread about 3 days ago. wink.gif

I never would have guessed you had that much here!

Yeah, it's hard to believe, but my post count is equivalent to how many posts I've thrown up on this thread. I do a lot more on the Skype group then here, as Tangster has said.

Yeah that's also pretty awesome of him

I've read many men talking about Chris=role model but I didn't think much of it until I saw the music video he made. I've been following his progress sure thanks to Reddit. But today made me seriously think about him as that too

Also, his son sports the stache as well

But it's still a 1st world country that has educated people and services. It doesn't stick out as much as the US, but it's still up there.

I don't need him :> but using "deserve" on a person is a bit weird. Any country can practically have his support.

Well, since NASA has been privatized, looks like we won't be having anyone soon. And people aren't that ecstatic about space anymore unless it's going to be as big as the 1st launch. Humans now use automated machines for their work. But otherwise, science is a broad field, and there are tons of heroes if you're looking in the right places.

That's good. Not being a superpower is good for being an actual role model that won't be corrupted by politics as much

I was making a joke with the last sentence. It was a parody of what was in the film the Dark Knight.

but that isn't the case for everyone D: Actually, I don't get the correlation between being someone like Armstrong and CP, but let's leave the P out of this :>

. . . bowei has too much time. Hmmm... do you have a cousin named Brian? Even if he isn't, you guys are probably related down the line :D

Btw bowei, did you take the bio exam? You could've easily gotten a 5. It wasn't even content based. Lots of reading and comprehension. A person who wouldn't know bio could walk in and answer all of the MC question section correctly. The free responses were common sense for half of the, and half you just had to do the labs to understand.
