The tomoyo after OST and claris's reunion came on Wednesday, didn't have time to post em then though. The miku stuff was from atom and I's trip, and the rest is from earlier.

Oh nice, how do you like it?

My Witcher stuff and dock came in today :) So that's good for me

Also Eva 3.33 :)

There's an event video up.

Are you the one in the blue jacket and green bag?

I'll upload photos and a more detailed account of the event iun a little bit, once I finish unpacking.

Highlights:

  • Stax SR007 MK1 with the Woo Audio GES and also through a KGSSHV amp. Sounded fantastic.
  • Sennheiser HE60 through the same Woo Audio GES. Even better.
  • Sennheiser Orpheus through the HEV90. Very nice, but the Senn stand wasn't well geared for critical listening.
  • Finally listened to the Koss ESP950 with a Stax SRM 717 energizer...I'll be ordering these as soon as there's a price drop.
  • Chatting with Jude. Very chill guy.
  • Heir Audio Tzar 90 and 350, very much enjoyed these.
  • Got to chat with Swimsonny, he has a seriously nice IEM collection.

Disappointments:

  • My D5000's broke(photos to follow).
  • Heir Audio 4Ai...meh, not enough sparkle for me.
  • The Tralucent 1+2 wouldn't fit in my ear.
  • The RE400...boring IEM and less detail than the RE262. Much preferred the RE262 and I feel the RE400 is very over hyped.
  • Didn't win anything in the raffle.:(

I was really planning on jumping on to the RE400

Used IEM a lot as well, portability (and carrying almost nothing) is really good

Again, saying "it's not run of the mill" or "it's the best ever" is not convincing enough. I mean, who the hell expect that when pushing Madoka Magica for example to someone that dislikes mahou shoujo by using only "it's the best" or "it's not run of the mill magical girl show" is going to make that person watch it, without some hooks like "characters die for real in it" or "real mindscrew happened".

Um.. whereever the University of Nottingham is. I'm still clueless about malaysian geography.

Haha, but I went in to Madoka only because you guys said it's "really good".

But if you insist: Mindscrew does happen.

Aah, but I don't have the time to seriously learn Japanese.......

I don't look at the subs most of the time either but once in a while some obscure noun comes up.

But here.

Before this, each of my comments were downvoted 3 times.

lol you're a redditor?

I guess it's like their "culture" over there, the downvolts probably don't mean much.

That said, I've never been to reddit myself....

Well anyway.

The reason I was getting so many downvotes is also because P-H is so popular biggrin.gif

It's currently topping today's /r/audiophile section

I've asked around here before. There are 009, 007, HE60 and Omega owners but no one part of the Orpheus club. I'm looking for a pair of HE90 by itself atm.

What are you going to power it with then if you do get it?

That's a good question. Not sure if my current WIP KGSSHV will do any good with a adaptor.

@tangy

Wow. That dude on Reddit just tried calling me out.

Everything he experienced has been explained before in the past though.
