I think Japanese is the best entry into CJK if you are looking complete the CJK set for whatever reason. Korean is probably the easiest (it's apparently a lot like Japanese, but no Kanji), but Japanese gives you a good start on Han Ideographs.

Chinese, I tried once, but its really hard. Nothing made any sense. It wasn't hard characters (I'm about two thirds of my way through memorizing Joyo Kanji without too many problems), nor tonal (I speak Thai natively, another tonal language). I never had a moment where everything started to fall into place, so I gave up. Might try again since Chinese seems to be an increasingly marketable language (maybe money will prove to be a better motivator than the ability to read Chinese electronics industry speculation and insider blogs).

Apparently Mandarin is easier than Cantonese if you just want a spoken understanding. Not that I'd know, since my Canto is fairly poor and my Mandarin is non existent. Hak-ka ftw.

It's in epsiode 46

Everyone already knows its Kira x lacus

they drop huge hints and everything everywhere.

They just don't pull it through. With every kiss, affection , etc lacus gives to Kira, the anime doesn't change her nice facial expression so it always puzzles viewers.

But in ep 46, its the only time you 'see' or 'hear' any affection as they are in the store near the changing room. She gets pissed at him for not having an opinion. As the scene ends, you hear the kiss but don't see it. (lucky assed bastard)

Went to sleep at 6 AM...
Persona 3 Portable. So far I like it. I hope it won't end up like with Fate/Extra, though. I liked it as well, but after like 3 or 4 defeated servants, I can't really force myself to pick it back up...

I DON'T KNOW

I was literally basshead.gif when I did.

I was sitting there on my Q701's and I hear a 'snnnch* right as the scene closes.

So I look back and rewind and there it was. Kira and Lacus moving off the scene and then a clear *smooch*

The anime however doesn't pull relationships through.

I've seen the entire anime 5 times already.

Fujian Hakka here. Our branch of the family have long since forgotten the dialect, though.

I'm just here reading

Fujian Hakka and Hokkien

and I'm thinking... Wut? Japanese? (sounds like it) but then I google it and confused.gif dammmmm.

Kunming hua dialect here. I hail from the city of Kunming which is the capital of Yunnan province. We have some if not a good portion of the hardest chinese dialects in China the farther you go down into Yunnan(near other countries like Laos and Vietnam). Our main prefecture dialect is not too hard but man, go down further and you have to switch to putonghua or else you'll be there trying all different sounds and vowels to match.
