Just finished ZetMan... I bet the manga is better. But I get the Batman Spin off elements of it... still not as good as batman sadly non the less nice story cool charecters, wish the EVOL master had more story time as the dude seemed cool but I'm sure Zetman is another anime that got locked into one season... >.>

Waiting for Robotics;Notes to finish downloading! It seems new-ish!

The manga is actually quite different and definitely worth reading separately.

Isn't Interface + PC cheaper than a standalone synth?
That sounds wretchedly restrictive for the real-time stuff I'm thinking of.
Also where's your primal musician-al-ist-itive spirit? Don't sell out to the man man keep it real.

Not to mention, actual synths are just so much more fun than some plugins. ;-)

Quoted for truth.

Silly Boris and his silliness.

I remember back when I came to this thread and we all had some free jazz talk. Even Muppet dropped by. Looking forward to reinstating the 4AM free jazz/avant-garde secret club.

I am. Is there some sort of missed context/misunderstanding I'm missing/not aware of?

What's the difference? It just looks like another keyboard.

Unless you're talking about the vintage modular synths that take up a whole room and has patch cables everywhere wink.gif

Those make the musician look like a mad scientist :D

If I had one of those vintage synths you think I would hanging around here and NOT be immediately purchasing a HE90 and running away?

Synths like the microKORGs are compact, convenient, and well...you know, not dependent on a comp. Because believe it or not once upon a time we didn't have those fancy processing doodads.

That's cute. When you find a Moog in the same price range as with the XL, that can even begin to match the variety of stuff that the Korg can output, feel free to give me a call on the pineapple express phone.

Nah, there's fun in twisting knobs on a qell-designed front panel and creating the sound that can't really be replicated by clicking the mouse or twisting anonymous controls assigned to a soft synth.
And if someone's only using presets, he's totally missing lots of it.

Little Witch Macadamia is on YT and niconico and we gaijins shouldn't pirate it anymore.
