As a more intimate example, if a person is bullied at school to the point where his school life was a miserable wreck, it is not in their interests to become a shut-in but rather look past the adversity they faced and do the best they can.

That wasn't the point. The point is, the world abandoned N Korea in the sense that they just let history hiding and Imperial powers cover everything up. What if the Holocaust was known, but little was said nowadays about it?

This increasingly deals with why people are sympathizing. "In a word, it creates a world after its own image" Marx

We are taught to always be accepting of other cultures. But that itself is a hypocrisy spoken by the person himself.

N Korea's entire doctrine is based on Juche. Indepentalism, psuedo modernization, while still keeping with their cultural roots.

They aren't looking to building a modern western country. This is the problem. Because their ideals, their thoughts on Human Rights differ. They are shut out.

@Borisu

Can you help me learn circuits? Like skype or something?

CPE at Vtech is very hard and it seems I must know C++ and RL and RLC circuits before I come into the classes. Knowing how to read those diagram sheets with the voltages is also important it seems.

So that's why N.Korea gets put down.  =o

Depends if you view it as cultural ideals > human rights or human rights > cultural ideals.

It's not why they get put down. It was just a deeper philosophical reasoning on how bourgeoisis politics in the 1800's affected and changed all human mind today. And how that mind set is encrouching on legitamite Eastern cultural identities. A majority of 'legitamite' Eastern cultural countries that wish to keep near full culture while modernizing are on Western 'hit lists'.

These countries are not the most humane obviously. Because that was what human kind was like.

Imagine buying a house and it conforms to a certain standard. Imagine the years pass and new higher and uber higher standards are getting passed 5,000 miles away by a organization you could care less for. your house is brick and mortar but the new standard that must be kep is uber materials, ventilation, efficency, renewable etc etc.

Humanities and what are now 'imposed' are mearley Western created 'standards' that keep rising. And as these standards rise, the more the isolationist countries are made fun of and attacked.

N. Korea has changed little from 1980 than from 2013. Guess what? Their humane situation and their treatement of people in the 1940's were barely talked about. U.K and Belgium and other Western countries didn't become 'humane' until WW2 and after.

And so as they keep getting belittled, they are forced into arms. To protect themselves, their culture, their beliefs, and their own soverignty. But every little thing they do (of which has been done in the past by imperial powers) is warned and attacked with embarrassing naval excersises near their waters.

Example would be the N Korea satelite this year/last year. What was its main purpose? Ask that to most people and they won't know. They will only say Nuke's. The 'official' reason for it(who knows what the hell it was) was to get satelite imagery of N Korean fields and geographical areas to better plant rice and other things. But it was immidately attacked by mass western media.

Experts had already showed that the orbit of the satelite, the type of satelite, what it could do/carry would in no way shape or form be able to 'attack' any other countries. the orbit was not one a military one would ever take and it would not be possible to arm it.

These are just some sympathizing reasons for Iran/N Korea etc etc.

The cheap prices of commodities are the heavy artillery with which it batters down all Chinese walls, with which it forces the barbarians’ intensely obstinate hatred of foreigners to capitulate. It compels all nations, on pain of extinction, to adopt the bourgeois mode of production; it compels them to introduce what it calls civilisation into their midst, i.e., to become bourgeois themselves. In one word, it creates a world after its own image.

Thanks for the explanation.  That's what I understood, for the most part.

I read that the rocket launch would also allow them to learn to build ICBMs, not that it was supposed to carry a nuke or an attack satellite of sorts.  I didn't know what the satellite was for or that it even had one, lol.  I figured they were just learning to build rockets to put satellites in space or something.

And America launching machines into the next galaxy will allow it to weaponize a cross galactic nuclear system.

Who sets these standards? Who is really the person who says what a country can and can't do? The U.N might, but the super powers of the world. The imperial powers are the ones that do.

What gave countries in the world to stop another country from innovating, or trying stuff out because there is a chance it can be weaponized?

EvERYTHING can be weaponized.

What is wrong with learning and building and launching? Very few countries have EVEN put a satelite into outer space. N Korea with little aid has been able to do it(I'm saying little because their many failed tests show that China isn't exactly giving them the answer key).

This ties into gun politics today. Who gave the 'big man' the right to carry the gun with the idea that only powers with the gun will be able to keep everyone safe? when the 'big man' himself is not exactly perfect.

Nkorea propaganda, indoctrination, big brother watching is always in the news

This is just SOME of the companies that are working with the world's largest big brother system

http://www.reddit.com/r/technology/comments/1bqxri/dea_accused_of_leaking_misleading_info_falsely/c99dudf

The NSA works with CIA/FBI to weed out dissenters. The USA doesn't actively just come and take people like Nkorea, but what it does is ridiculous. Make laws that people dont' read to allow for unjustified and unconstitutional acts (Patriot Act, Wiretapping, forceful entry, no warrant needed).

The only thing that keeps people tied to Nkorea's propaganda and military machine is that media 'connects' the info together.

Look at that link above. There are so many articles and so many people know about NSA but few media 24/7 will continue to remind that NSA is watching everything.

So in reality, if we are to break away from all things society, government and go to pure humans. Who really 'gave' a country said right?

The Korean War was one of the worst 'wrongings' of a country in this generation. The powerless world stood by while it happened.

This is rhetoric on your part right? Intrasolar travel let alone pangalactic travel is unfeasable.

The remainder of your post was quite justified. Although I'm of the opinion that putting satellites in orbit is of lesser concern than improving the general infrastructure of the country. The media would have a harder time vilifying you for building more hospitals or improving agricultural technology for higher yields.

So if slavery and workhouses had been retained with the justification of it being central to a country's cultural identity(early USA and Victorian era England respectively) is that considered ethical?
