I thought you wanted the LCD2? The setup with it couldn't allow me to plug my own source, but that Steve Vai track sounded pretty darn good on it.

Probably because I enjoy listening to basslines but yeah.

No idea :(

Considering I've not heard both to be able to tell a difference, I didn't bother asking.

I'm sure a email to WooAudio can answer that. I suppose it's something they carry though. So mk2.

Didn't like the SR-009 as much compared to the SR-007. Even if I was offered the same price for either, going for the 007.

SHR1840 also didn't hit me as anything too special--which essentially meant for me, in layman's terms that it was a very natural sounding headphone.

Didn't try the SRH940. Didn't like the 440 nor 840 from past experience so I skipped them all.

The HE-500 wasn't a question of not being properly amped. I did not use it with the O2, only with whatever was the setup in the room. But mainly the room with those HiFiMANs were in a speaker showcase room, and it wasn't the best environment for me to say anything about it.

If it is just about bringing to proper listening levels though, the O2 can power even the HE-6 but lots of potentials are lost there.

Not sure if I want it anymore

Nice pics guys :)

THANK YOU so fricking much.

I got my essay proofread and checked a few times. But man. Reading through your edits showed me JUST how much attention you were paying to the thing. Especially catching the wrong century dates(1600's got me mixed up with 16th century for example) and the use of superscripts and capitalizations and italics. Dam man!

Thanks!

No sweat, like I said it was enjoyable read and I learned something.  BTW I even cross checked some of the facts and you did a good job there also (engineers brain at work here, can't stop probelm solveing).  The century thing gets a lot of people.

Let me know what the grade is when you get it back.  I'd be curoius to see if we misssed anything else.  It sometime takes alot of proofreading to catch all the stuff and there are SO many ways to say the same thing.

That reminds me the reson you learn stuff that you may not use in real life is not to toture you.  It is to help you deal with problems and to dvelop the problem solving methed that can be applied to just about every aspect of life.  I know it's hard to see it when you are taking Calculus and Differential Equations, but the process of tackling the problem is the improtant part.

Oh crap, did I just sound like a councilor there.  Sorry, 'bout that.

So I just got the second season of Baka and Test, here looking forward to seeing it.

But does it have wi-fi?

Ortho-sama I bow to your ortho-ness.

700

Stupid $2000 jump-rope cable.

Right. lol

No, but I reckon it has bluetooth.

Actually it doesn't. USB + DVI.

My ortho collection is small compared to many others in the ortho thread :S

Still hope to try a Fostex T50 or it's OEM variants one day.

That jump rope doesn't look safe. Get me one that passed CE.

I find the LCD-3 to be quite heavy on my head, but yes the padding really helps. It's more comfortable for me to wear the LCD-3 than the LCD-2.

Get some Fostex T50RP and mod them. Don't think the LCD3 will feel very heavy for very long then xP

Mind you there was a stock T50RP at the place today and wow it's so light in comparison lol.

Anyhow, back to school work...

...after saying that these sounded freakin amazing.

The jump rope is safe for young children; the adult version will cost exponentially more. ;)

Are modded T50RP's really that heavy? 0.0

My modded T50RP is only a little heavier than my modded D2K. 625g compared to 520g(D2k sans cable).

Maybe I should change my occupation to panda hunter.

It's a stupid little SNSD pig-bear mutant. At least that's what I'd like to think.

Boo.

USB...wait for what?

If I still had mine I'd give them to you. You would probably do much better with them because I can't mod for schiit.

That would be another $2000 please.

Oh shiny speakers.

Actually gonna steal more pics from the guy I sourced it from (skype) -

Better have some ice cream cake there. Hate it when people miss out on an perfect opportunity and NOT have ice cream cake for their wedding. I mean it's always on the catalog, why not splurge? But I digress.

will puke on you.

Anyone have that sort of dilemma when they just go, geez I have NO idea what to spend my money on? Because I sure wish I could experience that. Listening to this friend talk about it on the phone and it just irks me.

If I had her money would just get 5-ways/8.A/C435/UM reshells/HE-6/DAC2/SR-007/new HiFiMAN stat in the works and be done with it all.
