It was all right. It's a bit long and can get dry at some points but it was an enjoyable movie nonetheless. I'm not a movie critic though so maybe what I consider "good" isn't so good in your opinion.

I don't know how accurate the material is in the movie since we didn't really learn about Emperor Puyi's life in detail, but I think it captures most of the important things in his life though (i.e. childhood, marriage problems, corruption of the government, dealings with the Japanese, etc.).

Basically, lossless preserves the audio signal, lossy kills some of the signal (oftentimes the treble, bass, and subsequently the soundstage are reduced) to make the file size smaller. Lossy is generally frowned upon in the purist audiophile community because you're playing music with a loss of data from the original source and that lossless is the way to go since the whole signal is kept.

Lossy: signal is permanently compressed/cut to make the file size smaller; loss of audio quality

Lossless: signal is kept in its original form, but may be compressed like .zip container (all data is still there, just smaller); audio quality is preserved

256 kbps variable bit-rate MP3's are good enough for the most part though. I keep lossless files for archival purposes.

This.

and lossless compression algorithms usually takes less time / processing power to run, so I generally prefer it over lossy.

Like the movies before, it was exactly what I expected it to be, so I enjoyed it. Plus, just looking at it was half the fun, haha.
