The fighting in Phantom Requirem is quite nice but a lot of hand to hand to gun action.

It's not real martial arts per-se, but the different elements were all developed based on different martial art concepts.

You could say anything is based off real martial arts concepts -_-;;. That point is rather moot. 

I suppose. The different styles of fighting in Avatar are intriguing to me I guess. The way Aang fights is completely different from that of Zuko for example, and each of their fighting styles are developed from a real martial arts.
