Electric razors are great when you first get them, but after a month or two, you're mashing them against your skin just to get them to cut.

Really?  Mine just seem to get sharper the older they get.  I've been using mine for two years+ and I have to press real daintily to avoid getting cut now.  I think it's the mesh wearing down rather than the blades so they shave too close?
