By mod don't you mean your headband is broken? :P

A red HEX00 would look pretty badass.

Did the 580 crack or something?

I'd be curious to hear how they sound, now that I've had my MDs for quite some time (after having sold the HD600 a while ago)

Damn... That would be cool.

Not as cool as a blacked out T50RP, but pretty close :P

Unfortunately I have not used a FiiO E17, however I am very happy with the Music Streamer II. To say the least, my HD800 certainly didn't hate that and that should say enough about their quality.

Ahhh, you make me SO look forward to college next year... Applying to around 10 scholarships within the next month... Sigh.

Regardless, Gambatte!

I read some of your blog posts last night, and I have to say I like all of them I've read so far! Have you been able to further your Japanese at all, or have you solely been focused on studies?

It really depends on what you're aiming for at Uni. It's quite easy if you only want to pass but if you want to get straight A's it's not easy. And if my scholarship demands it, it's even more pressure. Regardless I just take it as a challenge - since Uni truly is the most important times of one's life and it determines your future.

I am studying Japanese right now. I'm making time for it by reducing times in my other hobbies including Internet and even anime/manga.

Hmm, well I've always had little trouble keeping As in high school and before. The thing is though, I can't really see the point of getting straight As, so long as you pass your classes and get your degree, unless your scholarship wants it. That being said, I'll probably try and keep a high GPA in college, but that may be difficult to do considering I'm a procrastinator. I'm also OCD though which will hopefully save my arse and allow me to still try and give a damn about my classes.

Hmm, are you studying it at uni or on your own? That's interesting that you've cut back on the very thing that got you interested in Japanese in the first place (probably, just taking a total guess here though.) I don't know if there's a word to describe it, but that's kind of like selling your vehicle to pay for the fuel costs of it.

Certainly a high GPA has its uses, especially for Grad School. However if you're not planning for further education and no scholarship requirements, then yeah, it's not really that useful at all. College is a whole different beast to high school though. For one it's a lot harder just because how much more freedom you get.

I'm studying it myself. As I said in the blog post, I've pretty much reached a ceiling of where I can go with this hobby as a Western fan. 90% of the things I want to read are only in Japanese, including mostly light novels and visual novels. For the sake of this hobby, I'm picking up Japanese. I don't see it as "selling my vehicle to pay for the fuel costs". I see it as "putting my old car in the garage while I work my heart out so that I can afford a much better car in a few years."

Not knowing Japanese is starting to take its toll on me on where my hobby with anime culture can go. I have to study it.

Lol, I've heard that AP stats is one of the hardest AP tests out there. (I know you're not in AP, but whatever)

It's amazing anyone passed the test considering the teacher of the class is absolute garbage.
