Angel Beats! OST and Girls Dead Monster are awesome. I especially like to watch their live concerts.

 

I also like Ef ~a tale of memories/melodies OPs and EDs. They are quite creative.

The trick to have a good avatar be it female or male, is to take a moment or pose that is striking. If you plan to use an image from an anime, I guess you should alter the colours a bit as I do think that most anime have bland colour palletes.

In the case of my avatar, it just happen that there was a coloured page with the main character in a very good pose. I altered the colour to a warm tone and made the shadows darker.

I've actually been put off of graphs initially since my first touch of Head-Fi. The extremists of Objective-camp essentially make it so. But then when I started looking for reviews and impressions that has no graphs and what not, they are too flowery and often beat any poems I've had the time to read. Heck I'll be willing to read LOTR than those. Thus I came to a conclusion that the middle of the road is what I want, but seeing that that's the hardest thing to do in this oft expensive hobby, that's kind of hard to weed out. Also interesting that I trust joker and ClieOS entirely in their reviews despite they don't have graphs in most. I guess the way they write their reviews and how they give their advice and opinion is also on the conservative, middle-of-the-road "side".

I hear ya. My morning routine includes catching up with head-fi together with some fresh coffee. Usually takes between 30min and an hour just to read what was posted during my sleep.
cross fead [sic] is mixing the two channels together with reduced volume and a time difference to overcome the 100% stereo separation you get with headphones. Crossfeed gives a more 'speaker-like' sound, which I, for one, find more realistic.
