Never took it, though I probably have to next year for CCC registration.

That's cracker-sama-senpai to you mister.

Don't get me wrong, I love the class. Or at least the teacher. And the people in the class are cool too. The company that makes the online classes (testout) seems really cool. You just can't make boring stuff that interesting lol.

They're probably going to kill off this program pretty soon too due to lack of interest :(

WHY IS HE TRYING TO KILL HER???????????

And he sounds really different when yelling. Evil twin brother? lol

Robot uprising/invasion? Maybe she'll take over the robot Exoskeleton was showing at the Robot Expo and do something. I thought something would happen with that robot when they were demoing it.

Maybe she'll catch the bullet because the suit has insane reflexes and such. Crysis suit prototype?

Nope, got food poisoning this morning, but had two spare blocks in the morning and one for last block, so just went to AP chem exam on third block, came back, and have been sleeping on and off the whole day.

Sounds like you guys have never opened up a hard drive before...now that requires finesse.

Yeah you guys wake up early. Donchu have spares or anything in the morning?

Aww, that's real nice of you.

Lol. Mad Dogs being perfect example of my philosophy though. Not only do they measure really well, but sound really good too. Graph wise, they're on par with the LCD2 pretty much. We'll see how they compare when we get together though XD. I understand people being a bit crazy on this forum though sometimes, wanting to justify their purchases and stuff.

Ah, that sucks man. Hope you feel better.

Heh. Finesse huh? We took about 40 apart at the beginning of school. Albeit it was simply to recover magnets and throw everything else away. One drive was being really picky and we didn't have a T8 (only T7 and T9) so I ended up bending the top panel about 90 degrees and ripping out the metal shroud area that goes through the center of the arm (for the lack of a better word). Heh. Finesse, sure...

What are spares lol? I didn't have to be to school today until 10:30, but that was because of an assembly...

Well of course, it was a female. Any female that isn't atrociously ugly and likes anime is good in my book biggrin.gif

Eh...an Audio Technica ATH-M50 matches the LCD-2's frequency response graph about as much as the Mad Dogs do.

Project H is an amp/DAC combo (the amp being an O2) that includes a special control board that Borisu designed that does a bunch of magic stuff.

Seriously dude? You spent 3.5 hours on that???? On something that has screws to take the back panel off????????

It *only* took 1.5 hours to replace nearly everything in my iPod classic...

Albeit that was 3 people working on it at once, most of that time was spent taking the back cover off. What a pain in the ass...

Dayum.... That may just rival the TG334 in terms of high end IEMs :P

In other news, just sold my O2! Time to go mail it off...

Have you tried an iPhone 4S? Didn't think so.

It is MUCH harder and you have to be careful. Very careful.

Regular iphone 3G and 3GS= Pop out the phillips screws on the bottom, use suction cup on front. Replace Done

iPhone 4/4S= pop off (alien) screws on the bottom. Slid cover up, dis engage wifi, battery, attenae without touching anything. Remove EMI shields, remove speakers, remove logic board, remove camera, remove vibration, remove battery, REMOVE EVERYTHING carefully, and then you unscrew the side joints to release the front cover.

When I went to Canada, there was a vendor in an Asian shopping center selling iPhone 4/4S and iPhone 5 front/backplates. They looked pretty awesome, but I wouldn't know how to take the plates off without killing the thing. >.>

I believe Aberdeen. We parked on the top floor near the food court.

And Dinesty, I'm not quite sure where it was.

Mmm, Aberdeen's food court is like heaven on earth. I go and grab some of the chicken wings and cream puffs there every weekend.

Yeah, okay, think I know which vendor you're talking about now. Love that the NCIX branch in Aberdeen has HD555s on sale pretty often.

Back plate is easy. All you need to do is remove bottom two screws. They are either phillips or alien but the perfect sized tools are easy to find for them.

Remove those two screws, and slide the back plate up and it pops out.

Front plate, time consuming.

Yes, I have a lab sheet, but it's in Dutch. :P
I can give you a pdf of the plan. It has a pretty decent diagram.

Werkplan.pdf 531k .pdf file
LOL.

I want one too now. Could use it too... do nothing particularly productive.

Nice!!

LOL @ result over 16 standard deviations away biggrin.gif

I don't think I've ever done a lab with results that far off~

It's not like I could do anything productive with it either tongue.gif

Ritzy ~~ not the cheapest place for dim sum. Sooo good though.

Next to Chapters/Indigo.

Sun Sui Wah and Kirin are on a whole nother level though. Unanimously the best dim sum in Richmond.

There are lots of frequency response graphs of the Ath-m50s/LCD2s, and much fewer of the MDs (other than his website obviously). The LCD-2 and the Mad Dogs response doesn't look at all like many of those graphs. The m50s looks pretty forgiving here. Apparently their measurements were taken using different methodology as these graphs are very differen't from the other measurements I'm seeing.

Edit: Having viewed the separate frequency response curves posted on innnerfidelity for just the LCD2 and Ath-M50, I'm confused where your charts came from.

Ath-M50

LCD-2

They are nothing alike.
