Always sad when someone loses their battle.

Good question, arsey upper classmen typically. The upperclassmen above me were also jokesters and looked intimidating but werent. Our class are also the same, the under class are really rough.

Yeah it is sad, but as a student of Biology, its how the world revolves.

Seiyuu in Gundam ZZ and Full Moon Wo Sagaschite passed away this week. She was fighting a battle against cancer.

Ennil from After Wars. Never any love for After Wars. :(

Wait, are you on your trip yet? We are in the same time zone, right???

All that stuff sounds fairly easy. Know how to open an iPod classic? You have to take all 16 clips off around the back for the back panel to pop off. Pretty much impossible without causing permanent damage to the back cover. Then you have to remove the battery/headphone/lock cables, remove some screws to take off the front panel, remove the HDD from the assembly, disconnect the clickwheel from the logic board, then disconnect the LCD, then remove the board from the mainframe. No, not hard at all... rolleyes.gif

Dang you leave early... I'm not even up yet XD

Guess it really sucks that they all had to be signed. Most post offices are open until 5 or 5:30 though? It's only 4:40 lol

Haha, well you said you remember having one, right? :P

Nothing wrong with saving money, just saying too many people on the forums have really unrealistic expectations.

Nope, got food poisoning this morning, but had two spare blocks in the morning and one for last block, so just went to AP chem exam on third block, came back, and have been sleeping on and off the whole day.

Sounds like you guys have never opened up a hard drive before...now that requires finesse.

Yeah you guys wake up early. Donchu have spares or anything in the morning?

Some girl brought her laptop into our computer class for us to tune up. I started just doing all the basic cleaning stuff to make it load faster and stuff. She also had an anime pic as her wallpaper. It was of 2 people kissing. One was definitely a guy, the other one was a sherbert lol. Anyway, asked her if she knew what anime it was and such. She said no, so she showed me a folder of various anime pics (most from soul eater -_-)

And she had this pic in there too:

Aww, that's real nice of you.

It's only taken a few thousand posts for me to find out what your study. Besides your interest in politics and history, of course. Guess I should've asked.

Requires a clean room more than finesse. I only ever opened up a hard drive once, back when windowed hard drives(e.g. WD Raptor) were all the rage.

Easy yes...TIME CONSUMING, is the key word. Very very time consuming.

At first that is.

I got the rebuilds down to about 10 minutes after a few complete rebuilds and partial section rebuilds.

Nice that you found anime on computer repair!

You guys get to do computer tune up?

I think she was just kidding and didn't want to be embarassed so she acted like she didn't know?

Lol, you can do a classic that fast? Can I send it to you and have you take it apart? :P

We just removed some programs she didn't need, set some services/apps to not load on boot, removed the 3 antiviruses and installed Security Essentials, installed ccleaner and cleaned up her cache/registry, then told her how to do a defrag when she gets home.

Nah, she wouldn't do that I don't think. I asked her if she'd seen clannad, and she said no.

Lol. Mad Dogs being perfect example of my philosophy though. Not only do they measure really well, but sound really good too. Graph wise, they're on par with the LCD2 pretty much. We'll see how they compare when we get together though XD. I understand people being a bit crazy on this forum though sometimes, wanting to justify their purchases and stuff.

Ah, that sucks man. Hope you feel better.

Heh. Finesse huh? We took about 40 apart at the beginning of school. Albeit it was simply to recover magnets and throw everything else away. One drive was being really picky and we didn't have a T8 (only T7 and T9) so I ended up bending the top panel about 90 degrees and ripping out the metal shroud area that goes through the center of the arm (for the lack of a better word). Heh. Finesse, sure...

What are spares lol? I didn't have to be to school today until 10:30, but that was because of an assembly...

Well of course, it was a female. Any female that isn't atrociously ugly and likes anime is good in my book biggrin.gif

Keeping a room clean also requires finesse :P

Yeah, a lot of donated hardware from family and volunteer circulates around the the house, so have to mess around with old hard drives often.

They do do that a lot huh?

Can't imagine why they couldn't just google it themselves and find out how to do it all themselves

Pandas studying about other panda-like organisms. How apt.

Nah, just peeved cause sometimes you get those random PMs where they ask for recs, but want the things to do everything and have every feature and the kitchen sink.

Yep. Finesse.

Spares? We can take curriculum courses early here or do them online, so lots of people don't have a full timetable. So the empty blocks that we choose not to fill with electives, we can just go home and sleep.

Nope! :)

I'm only an ECE University of Connecticut Biology, and European History student. Not actual major. Just classes taken at my high school

Same for the IT classes here. School doesn't care much for the department, huge lack of interest, so became mostly a filler class.

Never took it, though I probably have to next year for CCC registration.
