Sounds like you need a W4 or TG334 upgrade very_evil_smiley.gif

That it does not. But least the mid bass doesn't obscure and muck everything up. Just more of a tactile, dynamic listen.

La Chine.

Lol why would you go to China for posters. I grabbed 20 rolls from a swag store in Seoul for pennies.

Heh, the TG334...

Told my mom I wanted that for my graduation present the other night. I think she just about shat a brick. She did say I have good tastes though. biggrin.gif

And the W4s... I'd have to test those out before buying them... *Jiiiiiiiiiiiiii*

Yup. More than they're probably worth.

Actually, I'd probably consider them just as a headphone for working out and doing stuffs like that. Give me an estimate, my Wooduos might be shown the door soon etysmile.gif

I guess it depends on the track a little. I don't have many fast paced tracks. The MT-300 doesn't perform all that well under those kind of tracks, specially with fast low freq pacing.

My main gripe with the MH1C and many headphones/earphones is that its very... hm... not sure I can express myself properly here. Kind of in-your-face, a very engaging sound. I like laid back sound, and the MT-300 kinda has that mellow sound that I like. Vintage ortho-esque sound.

1k+ graduation present. You wish. Though I did get a lot of money from my grandparents when I went back to China but my mom stashed it all somewhere for "storage" purposes... Which I don't understand because my undergraduate fees are all paid for...? Oh I guess I recall she's saving it for grad school. Bleh.

Headroom/presentation? Can't think of another term. But yes, definitely agree that the laid-backness plays in their favor.

Portland friend has a pair, want me to call him up when we meet and you can try them? Will bring the W4 myself. Imagine a more mid-bassy GR07 with BA note thickness and less treble (without added impedance, otherwise they sound even more similar).

...

Want to ship some to me? I haven't had the pleasure of ever traveling to Seoul. When did you go/why? Vacation? I speak very little kroean anyways. :l.

Trust me, this trip won't be fun. No time to go out or anything. Plus I just went last month for an actual holiday so all the excitement's gone and went. We don't even have a subway system in our province.

Visited family. It's usually Hokkaido then Seoul every couple of summers.

Hehe, it doesn't hurt to ask, right?

I'll probably end up getting the V3s for graduation? hopefully. Can't be 100% sure obviously.

Same is going to happen to my graduation money. mad.gif

I'm a bit reluctant to say yes to that, I wouldn't want to infinitely want them... Oh hell, who am I kidding? See if he's available then biggrin.gif

I just feel bad that I'll only be bringing down my Mad Dogs and Project H if I'm lucky...

Ah. I'm sorry then. Hopefully this trip will be quick then. I'm jealous you have family in Korea! Wait you have family in Korea and China? Out of curiosity if you don't mind me asking, are you mixed? If so.. I'm even more jealous.

Hmm, will only bring IEMs, suitcase for CDs, and maybe a keyboard in case of impromptu jam session. Let me know if I should bring Audezes, will need to pack them up beforehand (not troublesome at all, tons of room in the car). Will need that Project H cause I won't have another amp/dac on me.

The FitEars will blow your mind, then turn into an interdimensional sea slug and eat your girlfriend.

Not mixed. Was born in Japan though. Honestly travelling to all three places gets a bit cumbersome and annoying.

Where will we meet up? Wouldn't it be a bit weird to just go into a library and plug in all that stuff, not to mention it would be weird to have random jam sessions there?

I'll need 2 power slots, one for my Project H, and one for my netbook. I'll only have my Project H and Fiio E11. E11 really is no good at sesetive portables or at "hard to drive" stuff...

Should I even bother bringing my GR07?

Lol storage...cough cough inflation hurts...better off investing money somewhere than just stashing it.

Make sure you have an outlet to plug P-H into. No batteries.
