I cant find many good soeaker and bookshelf forums that have fast answers and concise. Head fi is ok but not the best sadly. I have demod bookshelfs at a store before, quite a few of them and sadly it would cost me $500+ to get a pair that I like. So i bascically didnt get any :/

It took me around 2 1/2 hours to read the entire Denko story.

 

I think I pay too much attention to detail.  Funny twist with A-ko.  Need to read more real-life Japanese girl stories.

All of coming stuff you can see im my signature. The funniest thing is that I am actually buying only 1 pair of earphones out of 4 and just 1 player.

 

Brainwavz HM3 - ordered it because of a deal. This is what I actually bought.

Brainwavz M4 - just a replacement for my old defected pair.

Hisoundaudio Golden Crystal IEMs + Rocoo P - I got both of them for a price of IEMs from Hisound campaign. Because my main aim was player and not IEMs, we can say that I got these earphones for free, lol.

Dunu DN-18 (Hawkeye) - got for free from Dunu Facebook event. 

 

Thus, I have ordered only HM3 and Rocoo P. However, my father doesn't care about that fact as long as he sees any incoming packages of earphones, lol.

 

I hope I will finish it by today because starting from tomorrow I will be away for...BEACH and sea, lol.

I got some bookshelves from a stereo set my grandparents stopped using because the receiver broke. Paired them with a nice vintage pioneer amp I found in the attic and I got myself something pretty sweet.
Not exactly high-end, but definitely better than most cheap computer speakers.

I think I'll sign up with stereophile then, see what I can find... I'm not a lawyer or anything, can't afford any speaker-fi addiction... just want to sell my junk and buy a pair of bookshelfs with unsurpassed crystal / razor / diamond type sound hehe.

 

 

Haha yeah there is that naturally, but they have a few good articles / essays here and there IME...

 

 

 

Sounds awesome.  I already have decent floorstanding speakers but I live in an apartment so looking for something else.

 

p.s. The ODAC is looking much better than I initially anticipated.

O yes, it does look quite spectacular.

I'm thinking of maybe later adding an ODAC to my Beta22 case.
First need to finish the Beta22 though.
