So dilemma, the new C5 makes me want one. Should I sell eQ-5 and 3.Ai to fund C5+ODAC+UM reshell route, or wait a while and go for Mad Dogs+ODAC+UM reshell as per previous intentions.

Yeah, was just going to use this rig for bedside + movies with the HE-400 and keep the mini-X (currently my bedside setup, but the blue LED is so frickin annoying) with the DAC1 and LCD-2s near my desktop. CIEMs will be driven straight out of a Clip Zip.

 

I need a new closed HP...C5s will help drive that as well. Had T50RPs, but I suck at modding. These seem like good value ATM, and I missed the SRH940 sale with TTVJ.

 

ODAC has a smaller footprint than the Modi though. But probably will sell the 3.Ai, not getting a ton of use. Don't have a portable amp though so without the C5 Mad Dogs would be sort of pointless as I have to use them out and about. Ugh.

Yeah, opposite here. With the exception of the TH600 (the sexiest headphone conceived yet), would go with wood anytime. My friend's Magnum V4s makes me want Grados ~~ will wait until I have funds and HP2s show up in the FS forums.
