The dialogue seems to be more engaging so connecting to characters will be easier if that's your thing (kind of reminds me of Tales of Symphonia).

Ouchie. Glad I live in a capitalist country then :D. Probably mostly from customs and fees, that's what I got from reading the toxic cables appreciation thread atleast. Apparently if you buy the HE-6 from the U.S. and ship it over, by the time you pay all the fees it's more expensive than the UK pricing.

Either way it's utterly killed my enthusiasm for Audeze and Hifiman.

Direct $ to £ ratio. So the $995 LCD2 is $1545.

 

Putting that into context, I calculate the import cost at £835/$1300 with a 20% VAT and 2% customs duty.

Pretty much every package I've got from Asia (that had tracking, the exception of which being my friend's 4As which went through Alaska) have come through California. Iirc my cd from Japan went to HK, then to LA, then up to Seattle, then Portland, then to my little hole in the wall town...

Seems like TTVJ imported these from china... Half the manual is chinese and all the markings on the cardboard box were chinese. Makes me slightly worried about quality.

Hmm that sounds interesting. Nah i'm not that "invested" emotionally in most of nintendo's core franchises.
