This thread moves so fast it makes me dizzy. Only time I can bare it is around 3am pacific. Its like a never-ending novel. Gratz on defeating my forums reading abilities beerchug.gif

Rule of thumb for winning at this thread:

<200 updates = read (typical day's worth of convos, so usually some gems or something not worth missing out on)

200-1000 updates = skip because why bother

1000< = read for the lols.

Who knows?

 

I can think of a few reasons tho. It's an attention-grabbing title, for one thing. Also he seemed to have fun trolling people with his female persona, posting pictures of Japanese schoolgirls. People would stumble into the thread and try to hit on him, which was fun to watch.

Actually, I've been thinking about the original thread a bit. I don't think it's as straightforward as any of that. It may sound weird, but I think kiteki is an artist and his medium is forum threads. He was able to create a very discernible mood through his posts, a certain atmosphere and tone which people then experienced as one would experience a production of some sort. I think his "little girl" persona was part of that. I think he was trying to create a candyland nightclub, cyberspace theme park.
