I speak French fluently but I really don't understand a word in the French bit. Maybe it's old French? But even old French makes sense, this absolutely doesn't.

It rhymes though and syllables are perfectly timed. 6 syllables per verse.

And that is like, how many months? Not sure if I can wait that long though. Maybe by that time, I have ordered my unit without the top plate and you can send the top plate with engraving later on LOL

I see. Don't wanna mess with that guy then

Anyway, Psycho-Pass 16 sure did give us some very interesting surprises.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

It really has that Minority Report vibe in it.

I'll bet that inside the Sybil system isn't a high tech supercomputer but actually a living entity, a living human organism that is being caged, enslaved by the machine that humans built in order to preserve peace but ironically, turned for the worst. And also, the reveal of the real identity of the Chairwoman it only affirms that in the Psycho-Pass world, human beings are no longer human beings but slaves to the machines.

I do think that there is a reason why Makishima is unaffected by the Sybil system. If it's true that Sybil is a living organism with high intelligence, then it must have chosen Makishima for a very good reason. Maybe the living organism inside it wants Makishima to be the "saviour" regardless if he will destroy the system. Maybe Sybil wanted to end it all.

In other news... Happy Chinese New Year!

Here are two work in progress drawings that I have made (one hand is missing in both of the sketches)

Headphone Girl Series (now added Aston Martin Vanquish, the new one)

And a tribute to Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom; a drawing of Ein

Wb~. And nice. You got he-500's right? I think I remember seeing a post about it a long time ago.

I don't know how advanced your chip is, but the best solution would be to make use of a clock and take the average over the past 0.5 seconds or something like that.

Or make a more complicated model. You're throwing away 2 LSB, right? What if you use those 2 LSB.

Here's what I'm thinking:

if the 2LSB are 11, then you won't allow the MSB to make a jump of higher until the 2LSB are 01 or higher (not 00!). This is is a sort of way to 'catch' the state and prevent oscillation while still keeping the right same step size.

How do you actually program it? I mean, how do you physically program a chip? Do you put it in a special socket and connect that to your PC? And, is the chip rewritable? Or do you use a flash memory module?

I'm actually throwing away 4LSBs, it's a 10-bit ADC.

Ill try using that method tomorrow.

There are many ways to program a chip.

The 8051 ones used in P-H requires a programmer with a special socket where you write the program.

The programmer is then connected to a PC via USB in my case or RS-232 in some other.

But this new AVR one has a feature called In-System Programming (ISP) where you can program the chip in the working environment.

and yes, the chips are rewritable for up to 10000 cycles unless I decided to put protection on the internal memory.

I'm starting to look of track of why I like Kyoani so much.

Tamako market is really kinda bad. Plot is (almost) non-existent, the SoL elements are about high school guys 'n gals doing boring things and acting cute.
The animation and art is really polished, but it doesn't have the depth of many other works. I simply can't get myself to like it.

Dunno bout the CPU piece though... You might be fast enough to tie with me. :P (yes, that's a joke)

That H212 is friggin huge isn't it? I estimated it was about the same size as my face when I first pulled it out of my box. Lol

And that Mobo... Kirei!

On top of that I also have to get 7:30 hours of sleep per day, and spend 8 hours per week on traveling time. Finally I also tend to spend Wednesday-Friday evenings with other people and typically get home at 10 PM.
I cherish whatever second of free time still remains after all that greatly. And I just can't afford to spent >1h per day of that rare free time on Head-fi, so I have to skip the majority of posts.
Tsunacon. It's a medium-large con (with respect to Dutch standards), and has about 2k visitors.

No display? frown.gif, it would have been kinda awesome and geeky. tongue.gif

One problem I can see appearing by the way is that if the pot is going to be on the borderline of two states (say 100 and 011), the ADC's output may start to kinda oscillate between the two, which could continually fire the relays.

Black metal. Nice.
What kind of paint? And are you going to engrave it? I'd go with something durable and high quality, since that may be a good selling point.
Ikr?

But other than the mediocre tips I learned that IEM's are really not what I'm looking for. On top of that they broke 4 weeks after I bought them as well, though they strangely broke on both sides at the same time. I've been putting off getting them repaired for the longest time, but I plan to do it today. Once I get them back, I'll give them one more try and if I still don't like them I'll just sell them. I really love my HD 25's, so I won't be sad about selling them at all.
I know. I am having some problem with time management as well smily_headphones1.gif

No, I don't even like K-On that much. But rather, I like liking it; it's not the actual show that is good, but rather it's the aftermath. It may seem rather vague, but that's the best way I can describe it.

Hmm, while I don't really see the last part of your theory coming to light, I can agree with the rest. It also seems that Gen likes to.... Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
include superhuman women in his stories, do you think the director is that character? Personally I'm thinking the Sybil system is some girl...
OOH!!! WHAT IF IT WAS SAYA?!?!?!?!?!
Also, headphones on while going to drive an Aston Martin... Genius...

Yeah, tamako market is really pissing me off. It's making me re-evaluate how much I like kyoani as well. I mean, it just seems like the only thing they've been doing recently is mindless romance SOLs. I'm getting tired of it, I want more than just the same recycled plot and characters!

That's the way I felt about saya no uta until I replayed it.
