L2safety, nub. rolleyes.gif

Pff yeah, headphone output levels are gonna kill me while fully exposed speaker terminations are 100% safe.

Is there a way to send a digital line out froma CD player with a bit of modding?
Also, did you get that file? It should be 1200dpi, if Joe wants to play with it he can, otherwise could you please engrave it whenever you have the time? smily_headphones1.gif

Really? Do you mean you're doing it for him? Or he finally gave up and passed it on to you? Haha.

They are safe because it's difficult to short across them, a male XLR plug on the other hand, is easy for a loli to stick a spoon in or whatever.

You don't need me to tell you what will happen if you short the outputs on a non current-limited amplifier.

Nope... It's from 1989, and it's the most basic of magnavox's TOTL CD players at the time...
Know of any way I could add a coax output to plug into PH?

Chances are, the DAC in that CD player is probably very decent, It'd just stick to using it and hooking up the line outs to P-H.

According to the one review I found, it's supposed to be "colored", whatever the hell that means... Dunno, think I could figure out how good it is by opening the player up?

Or better yet, what's the name/model of the thing, their website will probably be more informative.

Was the review done by an audiophile, or a proper reviewer with measurements and all?

Oh come on borisu, let it go, it's not personal.

Are you seriously comparing a line level output to a somewhat 'beast' of an amplifier? tongue.gif

@Boris: so I can connect my CDP to my PH unit digitally...
@Deadly: the model number and everything is in my sig...-_-
It's a magnavox cdb 262, and no it wasn't a review, just some informal BS on audiokarma...
