Sakamichi was excellent.

I was a bit saddened that while romance was a backdrop and thing that progressed the series(along with friendship) that they didn't really go into it.

That's shoujo for you. Shoujo is always about keeping the relationships tense, but they would have nothing to write about if there actually is a relationship, so what happens in Sakamichi happens quite often.

yeah, but unlike most shojou's. Sakamichi didn't really complete or go into detail of the after effects.

 

Yeah, but her English pronunciation sounded VERY german.
