is there a 3570 without the k? Ivy can't overclock well.

Everything else looks fine. Maybe trying to find a seagate for the HDD? A guy I used to game w/ said it was the EVGA of hdd, but it's been a longggg time.

Sure it does, with a little modding.

You don't want to overclock right?

You do a lot of transcoding, encrypting, general usage right?

There you go.

If you do overclock, then the i5 3570

I haven't bought the Extreme 3 but the Extreme 4 was nice in performance. Laggy UEFI and thin motherboard. but overall it was fine.

Nice deal on the HDD. Feedback is important for HDD's.

HOWEVER, you need to make sure the Mobo supports the CPU if you do choose to go Xeon

:3 haven't checked after the first month it came out, but pretty nice mod there

Yes, it does support it

you need an external graphics card with the asterisked ones as those do not have intergrated(on die dedicated) GPU's

but obviously that goes without saying that you will anyway.

I already have an OCZ vertex 4 120gb SSD, as well as 16GB of Kingston Hyperx RAM I bought. The 500gb drive is for my mom's computer I'm building out of all the old parts :D

I'm keeping the SSD, 2 1TB drives, Antec 900 case,

I don't want to overclock really...

I'll be doing a lot of general use stuff. When I go into college I'll be using it for coding and schiit, but no gaming...

I was mainly looking at the Extreme6 because, as sad as it sounds, it comes with a front panel mount with 2 extra USB 3.0 ports, and since I'm not planning to upgrade my Antec 900 any time soon, that would be helpful,
