If they have low sensitivity I guess.

Panda, we don't care about ohms -_- we know that ohms is the resistance and that it's how much current/power it can take up. We get the point that things at a _____ ohm can be driven easily.
ye, I was just asking for the general idea of how well it'd pair. But you go on to saying how things at a ____ ohm can be easily driven.
I was just trying to explain that you wouldn't be able to know too well without trying
It could have too much noise, not enough steps or the knob can't be raised too far up, or channel inbalance.
There is that.
Don't sensitivity and Ohms goes together?
So shouldn't there be a formula that calculates the true input that is needed for best result. Electric engineering? XD
There is.
Impedence and Sensitivity.
For example:
32 Ohm headphone
20mW for 98dB
Thus, your amp should need to output 20mW @ 32 ohms to achieve that level of sound.
But it doesn't always play out perfectly like that.
alright panda ii
0 gain = no sound? No amplification of the signal would be nothing I think.

Mike said that he had his at 11 o'clock on the lowest setting, so I'm not sure if 0 (since no amplification) or 10 (would seem to be too much)
what throw me off is that the amp doesn't tell me what ohms it is out put at...
For example, the O2 amp, they are rated at 0.5 ohms... so..... how do I take that into calculation?

It would be quite weak.
But it wouldn't be no sound
DAC's actually produce enough listenable volume. Everyone is different though. The specs will tell you.
You can actually if the DAC is strong enough(most desktop standalones) just plug your headphone into the DAC out(with a 3.5mm to RCA) because it has enough power.
Does the M stage have 0 gain?
It wouldn't be no amplification. Most have a pre amp.

k, thanks panda :D
yeah, it's got settings of 0,10,18,20
Barely.
Do you see what I mean? Barely.
LOL. This is going to turn out bad.
The appends for the Vocaloids used in some songs actually make the Vocaloid sound pretty damn realistic. I usually don't like it when the artist/composer doesn't use an append.
Wat?
*stares at screen*
*cringes*
Really? Well, yesterday...
This.
Agreed.
Hahaha. Weird stuff happened.

yeah, but be careful with the volume, it's quite loud (like any other obj2...)
Engraving pics:
(sorry about your image eve, the laser is absolute CRAP at handling gray pixels.... If you want I can put this panel on my unit and redo your's....)
Pics (Click to show)Turned out very nice!
Meh, he gets higher res...
This.
Don't know why. The HTC One X seems like a pretty appealing option for a first smartphone, but I'm not sure what I would do with a smartphone so I don't even know why I'm looking at it.
Anyways, I'm getting bored to death a so tomorrow I'm leaving my computer on so I can use TeamViewer portable on my flash drive and browse the internet at my own free will since I'm just remote controlling my computer at home. :) Not breaking the school internet use policy, to me at least. As long as I don't go on Youtube.
I want a What.cd if I can get Squarepusher.
Yeah, Kiteki and others have just listened to DAC out with headphones as tests before. Remember, an amp is an amp for a reason.
P-H DAC outputs 2V RMS. But I don't know at what amperage so I can't tell you the W it produces from DAC line out.
20 gain? Dam? ...
mk
ye... I dono what you'd do with 20.

They don't check
They don't care what sites you go on. It's not like, because they see people logging into X website so much that they block it.
The Firewall may block connections using the VNC or RDP. School blocks a lot of ports and connections.
Instead of doing that, which may not work or be slow.
You can a proxy program. Ultrasurf is what most around our school use. Some dude last year loaded it onto a flash drive, and moved it into a teachers folder. And everybody copied it and etc etc.
It works quite wel, but like any proxy program. Is a bit slow. Youtube and Facebook load like hell. Not bad, but not fast.
At the end of school last year, we had Halo 1 LAN party across the ENTIRE school.
Headphone death...unless you're using electrostats, I guess.
D: what'd you even use at 10?
Most E-stats don't use the amps we use
