Panda, I have a great collection I'll upload to dropbox when I get home for you. As for some good sugestions can't go wrong with the classics like Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, and Dave Brubeck. Grace Kelly is a new artist I found out of Boston that is very good also. I'll give you the link later for the collection.

Does anyone else think a lot of anisongs are written/composed with just the OP/ED edit in mind? So the rest of the song just sounds out of place... Or maybe it's just a mental thing after weeks of listening to just a part of the song.
Also, SSY's new ED is terrible. Especially in contrast to the first.

Right after I finish tomoyo after/planetarian/ever 17/others......
I think 3? Not including partials? Lol
Oh god, who is it?
Come grab it off my HDD next time u are at my house if you want it!
And you havnt finished TA yet?! At this rate You won't get to SMD/D before you're 50! Lol

I still keep expecting kyoani to go back to the glory days of 2006-2008...

yeah, but be careful with the volume, it's quite loud (like any other obj2...)
Engraving pics:
(sorry about your image eve, the laser is absolute CRAP at handling gray pixels.... If you want I can put this panel on my unit and redo your's....) Pics (Click to show)
I'm definitely going to run my unit through Joe's treatment...
Speaking of...
@Joe, can I send you a vector image and have you rasterize it at the correct size and 1200dpi?
My computer doesn't have enough ram to even do 300dpi...
No.... It looks horrible... Lol

Thanks, I'm quite pleased on how it turned out as well!
As always with DIY, things happen, and I tend to buy extras of everything just in case. If I need 12 transistors, I buy 250 (mind you, they aren't cheap at $1.50 a pop).

A bunch of extra top panels will do us no harm at all.
Ooh, shiny...
Too bad all my stuff is matte...
And I'm missing my best flashlight...

No, I haven't been playing TA. I've been busy doing random after school stuff and procrastinating homework by going on this site, Facebook, and Skype!

I studied the manual for borisu's printer at school and I see two solutions to grayscale printing:
1. is the built in image dithering
Looks like Borisu had it on Standard, he should use one of the last three modes (Floyd-Steinberg, Jarvis or Stucki) for grayscale to look smooth, this is the illustration from the manual:
The manual also states that the dithering pattern will be finer the higher the dpi you use to print. So choosing e.g. stucki mode and 1200dpi should guarantee smooth gradients.
The geek in me looks for other alternatives though:
2. "In 3D mode, instead of looking at the dots and determining where to fire the laser based on the dot spacing, we look at the dots and determine how much laser power (wattage) to apply to each dot, and that’s the big difference between Basic raster engraving mode and 3D. In Basic raster engraving mode, every dot is fired at the same laser output (wattage). In 3D mode we have the ability to adjust the laser output for every dot."
This sounds to me like an even better way to print grayscale--I think there probably must be a good reason why this mode is supposed to be used for printing 3D rather than good looking photographs though.
Either way, I'd still be wary of immediately going all out with grayscale images because it's stated that shades more than 50% will tend to blow out and look like white.
