That's USB audio recorder pro trial version. Couldn't get USB audio out with poweramp, which is what I prefer to use.

I also upgraded to the January 23 release of AOKP.

Any kernel recommendations? Looks like GLADOS kernel has full USB audio support, but there isn't a 4.2.1 version out yet...

I also kinda want undervolting and underclocking down to 180mhz like lean kernel, but don't wanna lose all the OTG support...

You're looking at them? Okay :P

Replacing that opamp can actually have really bad side effects. You'll be much more satisfied from a SQ standpoint with an O2/ODAC... rolleyes.gif

Skullcandy I got for XMAS. It be true.

I really only spend $5 on headphones. I'd rather purchase anime stuff I can stare at every day than decent headphones I will hardly ever use, then lose a few days later. lol

No, but Mech might be doing to me with audio what I did to him with anime. lol

You mean the $22 ones from Walmart? I don't really consider those Headphones, if only because I rarely use them and when I do it's for not waking my brothers up when I'm playing video games.

(Like Crysis or Left 4 Dead 2.. -__-)

I just used The Force to determine the treble peaks. (okay, and a little bit of your tutorial) tongue.gif

I think I'll settle with this for now;

BUT YOU DON'T EVEN BUY ANIME STUFF!!!!

You don't stare at headphones... You listen to headphones :P

I'm trying as hard as I can...

Can't believe you didn't find a difference between the SOMiCs and MDs though... With more practice, you should be able to pick it up. I also have an interesting A/B/C test for you next time you come over :D

Yeah... L4D.... Sure.... I know what kind of games you upload in your spare time....

Well I'm on Lupus's kernel, but I'm sure we have completely different thing going on here, since I own a Xperia, you have a nexus...

Why would you consider underclocking? extend battery life? I'm all busy OCing haha..

http://tamaudio.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=36&product_id=111 is what I have actually. Dual inputs + preamp for my speakers in one unit is uber. I'm probably going to have a hard time finding something similar to replace it whenever I decide to.

Swapping opamps and doing Class A biasing is very well documented with the m-stage. Most of the m-stage thread is dedicated to opamp rolling.

Thanks 0o0o0o!

The OPA627AP the most preferred? Think that was the one that was back a few years ago while I was skimming through some matrix threads.

Is the USB version not favored?

Just saw someone just now that was banned that was online :0 that possible?

Can't say which is most preferred, everyone seems to have their own preferences and there are(were) quite a few vocal supporters of other opamps. Honestly I haven't read the m-stage thread in years, and that thing is like 900 pages long.

But from memory the 627AP was one of the early opamps that was tested with the m-stage and most people seemed to see it as an improvement over the default one.

USB version adds 30 bucks to the price and is probably only useful for people who don't have a DAC/don't want to use their onboard mobo sound.
