Aw, come on. I know you hate KyoAni, but seriously? If you seriously think that, then your definition of moe may be crooked. Just because a character may look a bit over polished, doesn't mean it's suddenly moe as hell.
The characters in Tamako Market act like very normal human beings, if you'd ask me. Not necessarily cutesy or clumsy or perverted at all. I can understand you not liking the show, but don't blame everything on moe.

Though I feel it's a bit shallow, it sounds like fun to listen to, but there is nothing amazing about it. Like one of those albums you listen to 2-3 times and then get bored with it.
Though that does depend on the other tracks on the album.

@tilpo And I agree with your assessment. I felt like they really thought this one out very very thoroughly. If anything from a scale of 11/10 to 22/10**, it felt like it was at 11 lvl of moe. Should really watch ep. 2, buuuuuuuuuut...Sure The Bird, which shall be named JoJobird for my head-canon, is interesting, but the other aspect of the show is... not my style. I seem to thrive/rely my enjoyment in dark and gloomy feel. For example, I'm having more enjoyment watching Kotoura-san, as depressing as it is. I'm saying this is the first time in a long time where I don't feel the need to cave in my brain watching shows like this. One thing I like about KyoAni though, and I think I've said this before: at least they use only cute looking girls (and questionably feminine looks on most young men), not unlike some other below-than-trash studio/director/writer *coughvividredcough*

On a side note, I may have to expand my personal definition of moe to include personality too. Right now it's anything that makes me feel the need to either cave in by head, claw my eyes out or consume cyanide*, or any other methods used to bait in the desperate otaku. Been smitten by Akane and to a lesser degree Aki-chan, the strong will (and the design done my mangaka-for-Reborn helps a lot too :3) of the former, and the genkiness of the latter (sure this is not new to moe though, it's just that this is the first time I'm acknowledging it personally). inb4 Kafuka-chan kills me in a groundhog day loop in my dream nightmare.

I'm writing a music review. I've written some before in the past, but I never felt it got anywhere.
I'm trying to both improve my writing, as well as improving my musical listening skills by analyzing it. It's rewarding work, but very time consuming.
I do feel that I have become a lot more mature since my last reviews half a year ago, and now I can appreciate music more than before (i.e. I've become more hipster snobbish less naive)
