never seen shakugan. never appeared interesitng to me.

Code geass??? Twitch twicht? Code....Geass??Don't say that name in front of me. I would die of grief and sadness that my favorite anime of all time only get's a movie as a non conitnual :( for once. i wish they would milk the fricking cow..heck...just an ounce plz...just a fricking ounce...

Wouldn't making a non-canon movie techinically be milking the cow too?

you remember the akito the exiled something and then news of S3? That's it. It went from a series to now officaly announced as a movie. i don't know how it will do :/ after seeing the promo trailer(that was removed quickly from the web, hard to find) i gotta say... :/ i don't know. have u ever seen burst angels..well it's like that half the trailer. you see all these sparks and super action robot moving everywhere with the camera going this way,tjat way, super smoothly and everything :/

What? Now with less existence of a PV, this made me confused. No I haven't seen burst angel AFAIK.

It's shoujo esque, what do you expect lol. But not watching it because of art style? *shrug* I have never been turned off of anything except stuff that's ultra deformed or looks like it's for kids.  But regardless, I think it's one of the best things out right now. And Chihayafuru and saki.......are nothing alike lol. It's based off an award winning manga for one, and secondly, saki is more of a light series just to get down and not really care what's going on, just enjoy. That and their genres are totally different. Chihayafuru is just one of those series that really captivates you with how good it is. I came in expecting a decent Josei, I got one of the best out there in terms of characterization and directing. It really flys under the radar too much imo. Unless you got some type of thing against the genre in general. I know nothing about Karata and even watching it, I don't know the intricacies of the game, but they just do such a good job of getting you into it with the characters and Chihaya in general.

At least check out the first episode. If you don't see the potential, then I guess you're just turned off by it somehow.

Just finished watching papa no iku ep 2; impressions below:

Wow...how else do you say wow.......it's just wow. This episode hits top scales right here. B-Dawk should agree

 

Top scales? Whoa now I won't take it that far but the series really is just surprising with how well they have handled it. It could be a lot more perverse and silly but it's relatively tame and more....ah what's the word....endearing than I expected. We'll see how it prorates over time but I think this one is a sleeper in the making. I did think it would be better than it seemed but not to this extent. Here's hoping it continues to prove me wrong.

The real hit this season for me is Daily Lives of High School Boys. Been awhile since I've laughed this much....well, besides Nichijou.

Hows the character development and relationship in this? or is this just a Saki where nothing happens?

Anyone here read Nononono? It's actually a pretty incredible story overall.

Also find myself waiting eagerly for Fortune Arterial 34. Yes, I hate Twilight (and most vampire stuff in general) but this one I actually really like. The anime's songs though are pretty catchy too  ("Kizunairo" rough translation = color of bonds). Dunno why but that song has a very airy feel to it. Really like it.

yes..NONONONONONON Amazing. i started reading it during the summer 2 years ago. great story. kinda progressing slowly now though :/

Fortune arterial? The anime started off and went really well, until the end :/ are you waiting for the manga chapter 34?

Yup, manga Chapter 34. I'd grab raws and read it myself but I don't know a great deal of Japanese. Seems the current group Nayuki Love is on top of things, Fortune Arterial 34's progress is listed as "editing" right now.

Aside from that, Nononono is probably the best manga I've read to date.

Has anyone read Wolf Guy manshoo someting? I cringed. it's good but i cringe. I cringe whenever someone\(super duper spoiler following) 

Just saw Ano natsu ep2:

good episode. generic beginning. got better near the end. the ending with the ending melted in very very well :) hope to see where this is going :)
