Picked up a bunch of cheapo CDs, don't want some of them anymore, so if anyone's in the Van/Portland area...

Have only watched the Coalgirls release, but would just avoid ANE stuff like the plague. Ef and Denpa releases weren't exactly pleasant. And dat bloat.

Now for another story.

 

It was around noon during a time when I was at home watching anime and my mom had left a few minutes earlier to pick my brothers up or drop them off or something. In the middle of the anime, I suddenly got hungry.

I also had to pee, so I paused the anime, relieved myself, and went upstairs to get something to eat. After opening the fridge and pulling something out (I forget what it was), I turned to place it on the counter and noticed that there was smoke billowing by in the wind at a distance I knew couldn't be coming from around the corner of the house. I move to an angle that allowed me a view of the side of the house from inside and saw 3-4 foot flames coming from a toy bin. Amusingly enough, I don't remember the next few minutes. I know what I would have done: First looked for a fire extinguisher, and failing that I would have scrambled around looking for something to put out the fire. I next remember dragging a hose from the corner of the house through a pile of ceramic plant pots (destroying two) and walking up to an inferno that was around 8-10 feet high, some coming from the siding of the house.

I don't know how long I stood there watering the ashes, but it was long enough to soak the long socks I was wearing.

 

Mom walked up about 3 minutes after I put out the fire (I calculated that time once I calmed down and could think completely again) wondering where the smoke she saw while driving up the driveway was coming from.

Vocaloid stuff gets a lot of plays in the strangest places here. Album covers are crazy nice. Great inspiration for some drawings. I think I grabbed something with Gumi, still ripping the stuff to my Clip.
