Hey guys, do headphones literally have an imbalance in songs (i.e say a whole orchestra is tuning and the cellos are a hellova louder than the rest)? 

Is that what it means to be midcentric? Having the mids pop out at a higher volume? ._. I'm assuming that monitors are meant to be flat and colorless as possible.

They can. Headphones and units can make it so that regions are emphasized. The recording and mastering is also a big part.

What are the qualifications for a basshead? I've loved everything ever since getting the v6 since it has refined bass and is refined everywhere:3 I don't like bass heavy music though.

Do you have bad recordings or very metallicy songs that don't play well with headphones that are picky or analytical? The MP8320's have a huge problem where they are fatiguing in general and will make your ears bleed with many types of music.

There is no qualification. I like a refined bass too but if you want to get some wub wub wub going that is even better. But no, there is none.

I'm pretty sure I already explained that open!=no bass.

XB series use a semi open design to actually deliver bass.

LCD series is also open.

There are many no bass closed cans and no bass open cans and bassy closed cans and bassy open ones.
