Ah, remixes are nice~ I always like it when someone can mash up two songs brilliantly (not saying this one does). It could use a lil work.
Wow... Just finished reading Vol. 5 of Kiba no Tabishounin
Holy Scchiit, was it effin' intense.
From vampires that could metamorphose with other vampires to make a giant monster, to living skeletons that relives their past that was perished 100 years ago.
How can it go more ballsy than that!
I love it! And I can't wait for volume 6! Although I need to wait till July to get a copy because I get them from France by a friend.
I just hope it will release in time. Turns out the Japanese version past Vol.5 doesn't exist yet.
Other mangas that I enjoyed.
Waltz vol.2 and vol.3
I didn't have high hopes for this after reading the first volume (I thought it'll never be as good as Maoh: Juvenile Remix) but whatever, I asked my friend from France to buy Vol.2 and Vol.3 and what do you know, it is excellent! A spectacle of blood and gore but also beauty in killing. Not as deeply philosophical as Maoh but it has awesome action that was otherwise missed in Maoh: Juvenile Remix.
Now onto vol.4 if of course, my friend from France comes back in July.
And that's why I love France, for their mangas. :)
I could get Mangas there that was never translated by groups or released legitimately in English.
The translation from Japanese to French is also often more accurate than translation from groups and also, the quality of the paper is 98% identical to the original. It also includes forewords from the author that is often taken out.
BTW, the mangas here in Indonesia is not worth looking for. 70% of the manga they translate and publish are either extremely shounen or extremely shoujo. Rarely do they publish something interesting.
Also their quality of paper is s**t.
You can't buy 100% pure of anything, it's a matter of how many 9's after 99.n%
I think you can buy 96% pure ethanol quite cheap
Somehow the lack of that trace of methanol will make it better for drinking... you're gonna die anyway.
Oh you can buy 100% pure bullshchiit though, audiophile cables.
It's a joke.
Yeaaah IMO the Minami Ke S2/S3 hate thing is just one of random fanbase bandwagons everyone has jumped on because supposedly everyone has some random issue with those two seasons. I watched Minami Ke in full a few years ago now, but I can't remember S2 and S3 being any less funny than S1. The animation quality dropped sure but meh its a slice of life show, it can get away with it.
For me, the recent OVA was worse than S2/S3 which makes me a worry a bit about the 4th season. (Same studio).
But as I said, it's been a few years.
After a long wait, I've finally watched Psycho-Pass 11 and as many of you know, the ending was very interesting along with Makishima. Interesting bloke, I bet he'll be an excellent Philosophy teacher with all of that knowledge of Sartre, Decartes and others but he does tend to forget Nietzche though, one of the greatest philosopher ever existed.
But here's an assumption.
I don't think it's a spoiler but Borisu think it is... (Click to show)
Something struck me. It's the fact that he's immune from the Dominator, the fact that his coefficient keeps decreasing until reaching 0 in which he starts his final blow. I was certain that he has something going on with the Sybil system.
I mean why is it the exact opposite?
Did he fiddle with the Sybil system?
Does he know something about it that the others don't know?
It's until that I remembered that he said that his Psycho-Pass was always pure white and that enlightened me. He has nothing to do with the Sybil system, rather the Sybil system has something to do with him.
I noticed that (and this is also applicable IRL) killers or serial killers (in Psycho-Pass) kill because of pulsations, they want to kill for their own benefit, for their own pleasure. That's not the case for Makishima. He kills because it brings a benefit to the world (at least that's how the Sybil system sees it), a purpose that even the system sees it as good. An Evangelist that proves its thesis by death. His life is like if fate or maybe the Sybil system made him to be against the system.
Anyway tl;dr: I think Makishima is an interesting bloke and also a peculiar paradox.
