wait... you have your own car??

Yep, pretty much.

Didn't I tell you that over Skype like 3 hours ago? Yes. It's a 1991 Oldsmobile cutlass ciera. It looks like this:

Warning: 56K beware! (Click to show)

My dash torn apart to install a decent stereo:

Stereo installed: (Yes, I'm using the ashtray as a place to put my iPod)

On jacks while Chase and I installed the subwoofer:

Subwoofer and amplifier installed:

It doesn't look very good, nor does it perform exceptionally well either, but after doing some work on it, it's (mostly) reliable, and it sounds good :)

Watashi No Messiah Sama (give it 30 chapters)

Mirrai Nikki

This. Word cannot express how essential these are. Especially Wolf Guy, Breaker, and Holyland.

LOL at Watashi No Messiah.

We can start driving as early as 15 under adult supervision, the earliest we can drive on our own legally is 16, and 6 months later until you can drive with other people in the car other than your family.
Is it 18 in HK?

Driving is fun, esp. in the highway. Driving sucks whale balls in cities though.

You kidding me? It's great fun hurling a 1 plus ton piece of metal down a strip of asphalt going over 100KH/hr!
And being able to travel great distances on your own is fun as well. It also impresses the ladies when you have a car smily_headphones1.gif
Not so much with electric cars though...

City driving presents its own set of challenges, just like highway driving... Personally I prefer country driving, followed by highway driving, then city driving. Mainly because city driving is soo slooooowwwwwww

Electric cars are cool!

(Just because I'm a electronics guy biggrin.gif)

TBH I like the riding more than the driving...
it's so annoying to control everything (from my golf car driving experience)

Psychologically, it's much more realistic, and that in itself makes the insane moments more effective than going all-out like Wolf Guy. Plus the art (love the unpolished style, like Shingeki no Kyojin), themes, and realism (well, relatively) makes it a pretty ******* awesome read. No, it's not unique, plenty of other gang-type fight mangas around like it.

Eww cars. No bike nuts around here? (the ones with pedals). Parents almost got a Trek this Christmas, but talked them out of it. Not that they're bad bikes.

@mechy, and city driving is frustrating as crap. People acting like they own the road and not signalling and stuff. God. Highway driving is a bit more forgivable since they are more leeway for manouvering at least. Country driving in Malaysia is not recommended lol. At least I don't like it much. In the US maybe since the countryside is waaaaaay larger than in Malaysia, where it's more woodlands and cramp dirt roads. not all mind you. We're not that backwater of a country.

I'll admit electric cars theoretically are better in the city and if you're going to live in the city only. Going anywhere long distance and needs endurance, fuel cars > electric cars. Theoretically at least.

@twin, not a lot of bikes in Malaysia, mostly because they tend to get run over a lot. Because the drivers in Malaysia is bat **** horrible and insane.

Don't have to tell me. China and Japan every summer, can't take anything else but transit. Plus any bike I bring gets always gets jacked sometime near the last month I'm there .

BC has some of the nicest bike routes around though.

For me, car : YES. Motorcycle : NO

I want my first car to be a Beetle. Newer models and not Mr. Bean's model

It's either that, or public transport
