Jormungund makes me want to watch Black Lagoon. Lol. But seriously Jormungund has some pretty terribad animation for an action series. Not to mention the less than inspired ways they cut-out anything that might require animating a lot of movement.

If I could remember what I watched last year I would make a top 10 list.

5 minutes in and I'm about to throw up...this thing looks like ass. Been awhile since I've seen an anime that looked this bad <_<

Yeah, I can't take it right now

Anyone else enjoy putting their animu songs in Audacity and changing the pitch a half step or two up and down and see how they sound in other keys? I just find it interesting....but maybe that's just the musician in me. Sometimes I slow them down too or speed up a bit. Of course I lose quality like hell but I don't do it for quality reasons tongue.gif

I find it annoying. I try to find copies of Oath Sign or To the Beginning (today I was searching for My Dearest and The Everlasting Guilty Crown and I couldn't find any copies with no pitch change or some person trying to sing it) and it's a PITA.

To the viewing audience, we weren't having a "yaoi" moment in our previous conversation here. We're just talking about swimming and awkwardly colored earplugs.

Oh that youtube crap? That makes me mad as all hell. I just do it for fun in audacity with a song I really like.

I do it with piano music I have and play to see what it sounds like in a different key.

YERP. Well, I cannot play the piano but if there is a song that I am practicing to sing and I might want to consider doing it in a more complimentary key, I might move it around and see what I get.

Like, I love Try Unite a half step lower and up about 5-7bpm. It's mostly the contrast that helps me love it but if the conversion still had perfect quality, I'd keep it lol...heck, still might keep it redface.gif

I've played quite a couple of difficult pieces at young ages. I guess I have an unfair advantage because half of my family are musicians. My grandfather was a conductor and my grandmother a piano teacher. My mother was a violinist. My dad...no music.

Haha. Fortunately, it doesn't really impact me. My only problem when it comes to music is that my theory is rather poor (working on that) and I'm not very creative and imaginative so I can't compose anything.

My theory isn't terrible...well, when I was actually studying and in the groove of things I was decent for a singer with little instrumental background but what would mostly kill me is rhythms...some of that stuff you guys choke down boggles my mind. Like I'm sure I could get used to recognizing and reproducing it if I worked hard to get more acclimated at it, but dear lord I look at a band score and cry half the time.
