I'll probably wait for a re-stock...

I like 11, it uses about 100mb less ram than 10.6 did...
@kalbee: yay! biggrin.gif
@Bowei: I felt the ending was a little too sudden, and random. Didn't get a tear out of it.
I was freaking close with clannad and kanon though...

As a modern era watcher, I didn't like some things of the story but in the end just went with it. I felt little "force" with the situations they were placed in with little emotion for the death and all that. I guess it was to show desensitization but none the less.

Not to mention their is really only one scene that shows him as a kid of 14. All the other kinda show him as a properly trying adult. I don't know what to think of it. I also felt that some editing was off. When a scene lasts for too long with nothing happening (5s of just a door after it closed and far too long ending scene of setsuko running around) it really breaks teh mood too,

@iTunes 11

I looked up pictures of it two days ago and that actually looks amazing to me. That's the first time (and they're few and far between) I've seen a decent looking music player interface in a long while. I hate players that are just walls of text, and while pretty, cover flow or album views have always struck me as woefully impractical. Lack of plugins kind of sucks though. That's why I use Audacious, even though it has a dreaded wall of text albeit made usable by a search function.

Although, now that I have the Paradox, I don't have as much need need for extensive use of plugins. Maybe it's time to go back and find another music player hopefully with a better interface. Dunno if what I want exists though. Banshee was nice enough but buggy as hell, maybe they've improved by now. Too bad iTunes isn't supposed to work in Wine.

Yeah that movie has all those emotions.

The reviews for iTunes 11 are quite good

There's a difference between shedding tears and actually crying...
I've only cried once but strangely enough, I don't remember the name of the show or what exactly made me cry..

Yeah I know. Ok, I shed tears. I didn't cry.

I cried with Clannad. Only time. Basically

It had very weird moments that we modern viewers (even Asian) would wonder about.

@Whoever said iTunes 11 uses less RAM...

1000

No it does not..... It's about the same as 10.

That is a personal insight. For example W7 officially at the least running uses 512MB to 1GB of RAM. However on a 64bit computer with adequate RAM, it can use up to 2GB if not more.

Officially, iTunes 11 on average doing the same functions should use a bit less RAM with more functionality.

It is pretty sleek :)

That would be me...

On Win7 x64 it uses around 250MB.

I remember 10 using something around 330. Maybe it was something else causing the change on my computer, dunno.

It didn't do that to me? Are you sorting it right?

I will have to say that the animation and number of moving frames in ep 10 of shinsekai yori could have been more than the last two eps combined.

Didn't you say that you already saw it?

I was watching Grave of the Fireflies before.

Just finished ep 10 of Shinsekai Yori. IT was one of those episodes that has a lot in it but fails to really make me feel anything. HEll, IF THERE WAS EVEN A PLOT, I would have known what this would do to change it. But no.

IT also introduces A LOT of questions on what the hell they did to the characters in ep 8 and why they made it all

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

homo erotic

and stuff.

The characters and their styles and feelings and how they feel to me feels quite unstable.

Triple Post Copter:

Watching to love ru darkness

I thought Lala's voice was more.....lower and normal. I thought the female lead's voice in Asobi Ni Ikuyo would fit pretty well for Lala.

I haven't seen the anime for this show in about 3 years.

I don't particularily like air heads like the kind of Lala.

Now I am re remembering why I don't like these super ecchi shows anymore:

700

700

Never watched Darkness but watched part of ToLoveRU (and dropped it).
Itou Kanae for Lala? nooo.
But VA for Lala did not change. Same VA as Asuna in SAO. And many other important female characters.
