It looks awesome, and unlike wood is ridiculously easy to clean and does not require regular maintenance. Sure, it is realyl sensitive to dust and finger prints, but I honestly don't care about that all that much.

Yeah, it looks pretty awesome to me!
I'll have to keep that in mind next year when I'm going to uni. Might have to pick up wither the wooden or glass one. Probably thinking the wood though, since I would probably scratch up the glass one dragging PCBs across it and such.

63"...I don't know why but that doesn't feel like anything to me anymore.

 

Now that I've ordered the computer parts and I'm just waiting for the A10 and HDD to come, I feel like I've lost a purpose for living. I feel so bored...so...empty.

I was kinda under the assumption that open back dynamics generally don't have very good sub bass performance, based on all the graphs I've seen. The K550 are closed though, so they're an exception smily_headphones1.gif
From my 4 minute audition of the K550 I will say that, yes, they seem to have more emphasis on both ends than the HD598 (if that is comparable to HD600, which I never tried). But it also has a similar sound stage to the Q701... which I think you and me both disliked?
HD598 sounded pretty laid back, something I like.
