Yep, smaller than harry potter's room under the stairs.
Left: Cabinet open showing audio rig + floor panels down showing External HDD + AC Adapters
Right: how I normally sleep + work + play
They get stuck inside? (common sense??)
Ask the people who owns a pair of TF10's, that's about how easily they snap off. lol
Duuude your (half-a-)room is awesome!
My only concern when sleeping below ground level is when there's cockroaches... lol.
Mind you, I've never been to HK (when older than 2yrs old) to know if there are lots of those.

Well, not to say that I am good at speaking Japanese. God forbid.
My mindset in that claim: if you can write sentences, you most probably know how it should be pronounced ==> can speak (even if nearly intelligible).
Yet if you can speak the language it does not mean you can write it--nonetheless when it comes to han characters... hence I cannot write Chinese.
But you are right, it depends on the person and their specific proficiency and exposure to specific languages. I for one can read and speak some Japanese, and cannot write. In Chinese I can speak yet not really read and forget writing. Meanwhile French is starting to evaporate from my memories.

L/R doesn't matter all that much IMO. Similar music can be recorded with opposite channels and we'd hardly tell that there is issue with hearing either one way or another (unless holding preconception of how it "should" be). The only thing would be if the headphones fit the opposite polarity.
And if you wouldn't look stupid doing so i public.

Working as a waiter would net so much more money than what I currently do... but I bar myself off restaurants as workplace since I find myself sick pretty often. Don't think it is hygienic and either I will receive complaints or I'll get sacked.
But a good colleague of mine just semi-quit his job to work as waiter. Here where 15% tips are practically mandatory (unless service is awful), sure beats 1~2% commission. Both at minimum wage.
